This particular reply wasn't aimed at me but my God, you must be the most patronising cunt ever to pullute this fucking forum.
Whilst I agree that's hes a prick, you've run around this forum of late suggesting that anyone that doesnt agree with your view of the clubs owners is suffering from something which, whilst not yet a recognised mental illness, is a physcological syndrome frequently associated with victims of torture, domestic violence, sexual abuse as children and so on.

If he is the most patronising cunt to pollute this forum, you ain't far off.

Pot, kettle, black. Glass houses and stone throwing is what comes to mind

I'll save you the bother of scuttling to google to check

Lookie here

The only striker who's name is thrown around a bit that I think would make a difference this spring is Cavani (and it has ben pretty quiet around his name lately). The rest José, Slimani, Giroud. Are they really better than our make shift strikers?

Im liking the idea of raiding China for a few players on 6 month loans.
This striker fella, Our Mousa etc would be great and surely in-expensive.

If Mousa is fit then I cant see why we arent all over that. I mean just do it!
Surely must be a few more strikers out there maybe looking to get into the Euros.

Do think we need a striker.
Im more sign the best one we can get rather than stop gap. Imgaine the intent if we signed someone to challenge Harry.

Also would like the youth to be given a chance but havent seen enough of Parrot to know if he can fill in this year.

The cost of missing out on Top 4 is far greater than spending a few extra bob now and getting a proper player. For someone who professes faux knowledge in economics - I find it astonishing you've missed that part
Ah yes the magical if we spend 100m we are guaranteed top four - West Ham fans say you're an idiot, and being called an idiot by Spammers is about as low as it gets .....

assuming no one comes today, which would be my bet, don’t expect to see anything in the summer until end of August, and then it’s going to be “difficult” because we are not in Champions league, again excuses at the ready.

Ah the old 'we can't sign anyone good as we're not in the Champions League'

Such a load of old cobblers and an excuse from the perennial apologists which I expect to be trotted out plenty this summer.

That and suddenly everyone seems to have a Masters in accounting and business finance as to understand why we can't buy anyone half decent.

I think I preferred it in the 90s when I used to hope we beat the likes of Oldham so that we'd nearly be in the top half of the table.

A decent proven striker sure .... but a last minute panic buy just to say we have a new striker .... that never works out well ... look at the strikers signed in January ...

Kaba Diawara - the new Anelka lol
Lewis Grabban
Cenk Tosun
Andrej Kramaric
Andy Carroll
Wilfried Bony
Alexis Sanchez
Steven Naismith
Guido Carrillo
Will Hoskins
Savio Nsereko

That's eleven different EPL clubs with absolute shockers of striker signings in January ... there have been some good ones Suarez, Zaha (to Palace) Sturridge but far more bad ones .....

If we're not 100% sure we should wait until the summer, in Spurs terms it's not that far away.
Appreciate the sentiment of what you're saying and, were it not for the injury of Kane I would completely agree with you.

But having "a striker" is pretty pivotal to the way Mourinho likes to set up his team's - we've seen in recent weeks that Lucas can't do the job, so as much as it's a risk and the names you mentioned do show how difficult it can be to get quality in Jan... I think it would be an even bigger risk to not sign anyone.

Getting someone on a short-term loan with an option would be ideal - we can then re-evaluate in the Summer and look into long-term targets.

At the end of the day, it comes down to what Mourinho wants - if he's happy with a fluid attacking front three of Son, Moura & Bergwijn then we're all good!
