You're a fucking imbecile. Don't ever post on here again, you scouse cunt.

Constructive as ever.

What do you actually contribute to this place other than cunting everyone off?

Fucking pea brain

I don't usually put people on ignore, in fact I don't have a single person on ignore on here, but I'll make an exception for you, You're a yappy little dog, who thinks he's some kind of hard man.
20 years ago I would have ironed you out and thought nothing of it, but I'm an old man now and I'm not going to be dragged into all that by some cunt on the internet.

If he's going to West Ham then he's probably utterly shite

Oh ffs... I'll just repeat my previous post.

//Funny to see the argumentation that "no big club went for Berge, hence he is shit". Know what? No big club went for Kante, Mahrez, Alli, Tielmans, Maguire, Mane...etc either eventually... Until they did. And rest is history.

Ofc there are more players that big guns did not want to buy and who will not turn out good either in the end. And Berge could turn out to be new Imbula as well, totally might happen. But just using this argument is 100% bullshit. //

Basically when Toby went to Southampton, we could have crossed him out as well and said that "if no one better than Soton wants him, he's probably utterly shite.

Wet Spam has gotten likes of Payet. And I actually think that Anderson is quite a decent player.

Hmm... could anyone explain why didn't we want to go for Jarrod Bowen this window?

Compared to Bergwijn he is around same age, homegrown, used to physical football, lot of experience as well. Price would have become bit cheaper...

Just he seems like kind of Maddisson->Leicester deal basically...
And with him the risks would have been remarkably lower - buy him for 20 mil, even if he plays bad, in 1,5 years time he is still youngish (25), homegrown, proved in Championship and been at Spurs - we could sell him for same or higher amount.

Though ofc I hope that Bergwijn will turn out to be massive success which will make me ashamed of writing this post

Would be happy to get Bowen - great goalscoring record in Championship and takes up spare HG squad space. Even if a striker comes in we need extra goalscoring AM's and in summer opportunity to move on injury raddled Lamela whose goals/assists even when fit are not great, or Moura who is not a consistent goalscorer and few assists. Both of them 28 by the summer so time to move them on fir a fee..

our scouts prefered Bergwijn, think its as simple as that, they think he is the better player to make an impact. From what I have heard about him I am hopeful they are right, most "experts" on posdcasts think he is ready for the step up and compared him favourably to the Ajax lot.

Latest rumours - going to Celtic but some say its an £8m transfer fee, others that Spurs need to subsidise his wages. 18 months left on his wages.

Swap with Edouard would be a decent move

Celtic would be looking for around the same fee for Edouard they got for Moussa Dembele I think, circa £20M.
I doubt they would let him go at this stage of the window in any case unless they had a replacement lined up.

Eduoard swap is a pipedream.

He's their best striker since Larrson. They aren't going to let him leave in the midst of an actual title challenge with Rangers

:harryhmm:

Fair enough, don't want to risk him not being classed as "club trained/home grown"

He can go next season.

He needs 3 years at Spurs before age 21 to become Club Trained - has 18 months at Spurs now.

He may need loans when older so maybe keeping him at Spurs for 2nd half of the season gets him to 2 years at Spurs.

Then need to be careful with future loans so he gets to the 3 year mark at Spurs (nb a loan does not count towards the 3 years at Spurs)
