Okay then. And what’s your reasoning for the state he left Chelsea in during his last stint there? Or the shit show that was his time as United manager?

I will continue to support the team and Mourinho while he remains here, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to bury my head in the sand and try and convince myself Mourinho is still the same manager he was 10 or so years ago, because he’s not.
Then why was he hired? Mr levy must think so.

You mean the Chelsea team with Matic, Fabregas, Costa, Courtios and so on that Conte then used to win the league again after Mourinho had also won the league with them?

The United team he won the Europa League and League Cup with, where players like Rashford said he made him a much better player? Who gave McTominay his chance and improved other players?

What state has Poch left us in?

If Spurs won league titles and champions leagues with a big spend up prior to it, I’m sure you wouldn’t be calling it “hollow” and complaining.

Read my post on the matter and consider that before making further ignorant assumptions please....

If we'd generated that dosh as a club by our own means I'd feel mighty proud.... If we'd been doing it with blood money, I'd probably have checked out before the trophies were even decided.

It's not spending money that I am averse to... Clearly you lack the will and/or intelligence to understand this.

Then you are incredibly naive and stupid. Success is built on how much money you have and what top players you can buy. Building on that each season. Leicester was a complete one off, so don’t even go down that route. If you honestly think Spurs can be successful by carrying on adopting our stance, then you are as silly as I thought you were. Spurs have hit a ceiling and won’t be going any further. We unfortunately are going to have to emulate City and Chelsea to some extent, if we want to be truly successful. End of story. Liverpool did and are now European champions and will be league winners, go figure.

I don't usually get invoved in these We-Should-Sign-This-Bloke-I've-Never-Seen-Play-From-a-League-I-Never-Watch threads but having read about this lad in Marca, I'm bang up for it now.

21 goals in 23 league games this season, similar numbers to Haaland. Cool name too

According to Transfermarkt he can play behind the striker and on the left or right as well as a nº9, and is valued at €7.2 million, earning €27,000 a week.

The Marca piece reckoned Kanouté brought him to Europe

Bit like Mane

So lets not win anything for the foreseeable future, lose players to clubs who are actually winning trophies and continue to flirt with 4th spot for the long run because we are doing it the right way?

Fuck off.

PS.. I'm not telling you to fuck off. More the situation. I'm sure you're a nice person.
I'd rather kane leaves us for trophies so we can take the moral high ground in a sport of low morals:kanehand:

Look, insult me all you want, but you're just looking ignorant by carrying on like this.

Again you're just willfully miss-casting me as someone that is against us spending money.

I'm not asking you to agree with me, but you clearly have no desire to consider the point of view which is being put to you..... You're just repeatedly spewing the "we must spend" mantra at me

Liverpool haven't "done a chelsea/city".....

To be fair to you, I do believe that if we were taken over in the morning by a billionaire who pumped money in you would genuinely be peeved by it and stick by your guns, as opposed to some who claim they would be against it but I would be confident would flip like a light switch if it were to actually materialize.

You seem to genuinely feel strongly on the matter, which I can only say fair dues to you for.
Whilst not being bothered by congo black kids being exploited & sent in to mines that can collapse & kill them at any moment so he can have a mobile phone to express how humane & caring he is.:mourcheeks:

They spent over 150 mil on 2 huge players that have transformed them mate. They have spent on quality to get success, which is how Chelsea/City adopt. Spurs don’t build for success.

(You're not considering a damn word I said, are you?)

Were did that money come from?

They sold Coutinho.....

Lets draw a line under this.... You said a page or two ago - and yesterday - that someone of my mindset is jealous... That's bullshit.

The end.
