Give me Calvin Stengs instead of a cunt fraud like Coutinho. He takes too many touches and can barely see a pass. Banging one in from 25 yards every 6 weeks doesn't mean he isn't like tits on a bull for the vast majority of matches. He only plays for himself.

Not exactly same position - but I agree

Coutinho can do ONE thing from ONE specific position, but credit where credit is due...

He is like someone waiting for a bus. Standing around, passing it sideways and back, looking for service in and around the box. And then there is his signature move, as you have very beautifully illustrated. Cut inside, and unload. Like, how often does that work out for him?

Maybe a return to EPL would be good for Countinho? I'm not gonna be proactively rooting for us to sign but if we do I wouldn't be upset.

Don’t know what his conversion rate is. I would prefer buying someone young with developing potential and a lower wage, instead of these expensive regressing players.

That said, if we could loan Coutinho only paying around 60-70% of his wages, I wouldn’t mind. He might think the world of himself, which would mean a lot of confidence, something we are short of atm. It’s difficult for a young guy like Sessegnon when there isn’t a shoulder to lean on. Our seasoned guys (Jan, Toby, Hugo etc.) are struggling enough with their own game, so they aren’t of much help

Better than I thought...... Still don't want him tho'. Think what other ways we could improve the squad with the money. Let's back GLC/Ndombele/Bergwign to push the team forward post-Eriksen and worry about conceding less.

I still think Nelson Semedo could be a realistic option. Aarons will be overpriced for being English. Then you have guys like Hakimi, Pereira, and maybe even Cancelo getting a lot of attention in the market. Semedo could slip under the radar a bit. And you know Jose is familiar with him (not to mention the previous rumors of us being interested).

I'm pretty sure we are signing Meunier on a free transfer. We are skint
