Has there ever been a pass that worked solely because the receiving player was offside that has gotten this much praise as the Ndombele offside pass to Kane?

The only thing that made it a good pass was the Kane was able to get to it by being clearly offside. It wasn't like he was offside by millimeters he was a yard offside. If Kane is onside the pass doesn't come close to getting to him and is easily dealt with but for some it shows some sort of great ability from Ndombele.

Hazard, Costa, Luiz, Luiz, Courtois Willan ask any Chelsea fan all guilt of downing tools on 3 managers in 4 seasons. And it's why only Willan is still there out off them.

You can’t blame Ndombele for Kane being offside. Ndombele is in no position to see that. It is definitely something that he has in his locker unlike most of the team. The only player that has similar passing ability is Kane and Lo Celso who was played too far back. People should give Ndombele another chance as there is definitely a player in there and it is not as if we are spoilt for choice

I’m not blaming him I just don’t think it was a great example of skill or ability. It worked solely because Kane is offside.

It's taken me 6 months to blame Jose - is that not a long time in football? Should he be spared the blame for the way he has our players setting up and playing?

I mean in this thread today I said we should probably give him a pre-season.

That’s the reason why is it? They got rid of Hazard and Courtois because they downed tools and not because they asked to move to a bigger club? Chelsea didn’t want to sell either of them. There’s no factual basis to your post.

The players downed tools on Jose because they stopped believing in his methodology and managerial ability. The same as happens at nearly every club when a manager is sacked. That group of players were no more toxic than any other, they were a high quality group of players who were sick of playing an archaic style in the modern game.

I guess the same happened at Utd too? Wasn’t Jose’s fault, the players downed tools. All of which were players he bought FYI.

If this keeps up, as soon as the stadium can host events Mou will be gonzo. Right now Levy won't eat the contract because of the lack of such a large stream of revenue, but if there is effective treatments in the near future, and large outdoor gatherings are given the go ahead, I don't think Levy will hold back.

Wonder if you hyping up Tanguy like fuck for ages before he even got here was a factor...
 
I love the way that the only defence for Jose now has become Poch was shit. Like there’s any reason to involve Poch in this discussion.
 
Two great managers, same players, same problems.

I'm slowly starting to turn on a lot of the squad.

Jose has to do better himself but we need a makeover on the pitch too.

But had we actually worked on having a trusted attack, with players knowing where to run this at the very least results in a shot on goal.

Pointed this out in the match thread. Absolutely brain dead and a waste of time IMO. He saved us against Ajax, but that was one night.
