Match Tottenham Hotspur v Everton - July 6th - 8PM (UK)

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Depends if you enjoy watching football or not.

Sadly Ceefax isnt on the go anymore
If Jose's style of football eventually gets us a trophy or two, I'll take it.

I dunno about you, but I got tired of playing the "best football" and coming away with nothing to show for it.

Fuck, one of our TWO trophies in the past 25 years came when we had George fucking Graham in charge.

I watched and deliberately did not post I took my time afters so not to knee jerk. . The only good thing was Loris giving home truths to Son. That said it would be nice if he gave the same to Kane. The lumbering out of shape Harry should be getting at least a bit of the aporbium heaped on N'dombele. He looks in very poor condition. Happily Everton appeared to be on Holiday. It's not good lads we are still tactically poor and physically wanting which is disturbing. At the back Toby could not have picked a better team to come back against. I don't think Mourinho is the way back to the top, and saw zero to change that opinion.

I'll certainly celebrate the trophy.

But if winning the trophy takes 38 games of that standard (and we'll not play such a shit opponent 38 times) then medals should be minted for anyone attending every match.

Tough to ignore what Carragher said a while back, that as a unit, we seem to have ‘expired somewhat’. That was with Poch, and obviously applies to a lot of the players we have today.

I liken it to Liverpool, when they came so close to winning the league, the road from then on is very tough. Players who were so close to reaching the ultimate goal (as we were with the PL, the CL and perhaps one/two domestic trophies) find it hard to pick themselves up and go again, with nothing to show for their efforts.

Despite the win today, it just seems there is a bit of a rotten core. Not necessarily blaming the players and not saying it is a conscious thing. A few percent less effort can and does make the difference.

Mourinho has inherited a bit of a broken team. The job on his hands is very tough, and without funds, it is not his domain. We were abysmal tonight, and I love 3 points as much as the next guy, but if you put it into context, something needs to change.

We have players on that bench who aren’t getting a sniff. What must they be doing so wrong that the players on the pitch are doing so much better?
