Media Amazon fly-on-the-wall documentary about Spurs

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

You did make that point. But you also then went on to argue “no one could have seen this shitfest coming.” “We probably already paid them.” They’re excuses my friend.

Not sure what the latter is a ref to, but the former is simply one of a number of facts I've stated.

I'm not making excused..... Look at this way; despite the facts; I still don't like the doc.

They may be thinly veiled as usual. But they’re excuses, and until we as fans stop making them for our owners, nothing will change.

They're facts. Its called being objective, "my friend".

Our manager did not want this documentary to happen. He had reservations about how it would effect us on the pitch. As such, it should not have happened. Period.

Which (presumably) is a fact.... I'm taking it as such.

However, every untruth or exaggeration waters down the facts that one DOES have at their disposal.

The excuses for Levy need to stop. The jig is well and truly up.

You be sure to call me out if you catch me lying, fella. Then we can resume this convo.

With all due respect mate, what a load of cobblers. Is that a homage to Rafa Benitez’ infamous “facts” rant? He pulled that one out when he was running out of excuses too.

Dig back and properly refute my comments then mate, because without doing so you are merely being disrespectful (and in essence calling me a liar)...

To summarise:

- Are we the first to do this for cash? ....Did it fuck City's season up?
- Did we set up our shit season with the express purpose of humiliating Poch?
- You don't think Poch/Jose/C19 is the perfect storm and outrageously lucky for Amazon?
- You don' think Amazon would have imposed a significant financial penalty if we'd have pulled the plug on the project mid-season?

....Even so, I still don't like it.

No ham required.

To answer:

- We’re not City. I would wager that if Guardiola had gone to his hierarchy and said “I don’t want this to go ahead.” It wouldn’t have.
- Obviously not, but we still did and are going to humiliate him.
- Of course it is. More a reason we should have pulled the plug.
- Any owner or chairmen with any bit of credibility or care for fans wouldn’t hesitate to pull the plug on a sham of a documentary that is going to humiliate our entire club in front of the whole footballing world, even if it incurred a (unconfirmed) financial penalty that you speak of.

- I didn't ask you if we were City...... Liverpool did it too, yet people are happy to gush over their owners these days. I'll take that as "No, Airfixx; you were correct in what you said." 1/4
- "Obviously not"..... 2/4
- "Of course not".... 3/4
- Of course it would incur a penalty.... You may not care to understand such processes, but more than likely enough to warrant mention; so yep..... 4/4

Of course they COULD have pulled the plug.... I have no problem accepting facts.

Was there even any point in me answering your questions if you’re just going to reply with the answers you wanted anyway?

Don't see my motivation? You were the one who initially replied to my post?? :walker:

Yes I did.... I saw some claims (including those from yourself) I felt to be OTT; I opted to dispute them.

I understood you the first time you told me you don't approve the documentary.

So why insist I am making excuses, rather simply than urging a more rational perspective from a fellow fan?

This isn't a vehicle deployed to humiliate Poch.... They guy's just had a pay-off of 20-30m quid.... That really ought to cushion the blow bearing in mind everyone knows his contract was terminated anyway.

Meanwhile the club owes money on the stadium and just lost a shit load of matchday revenue and don't know when the next match ticket will be sold or pint will be pulled.... I'm guessing 10m quid (rather than paying Amazon compensation in order to spare Poch's blushes) may come in useful..... Afterall, I'm guessing you'll still want to see players bought this summer? ...Still want to see competitive wages paid?

Sill doesn't mean I like it tho'.

It’s an utter embarrassment the whole thing. When others have done documentaries like City, they actually win trophies to justify the title “All or nothing”. When a shambles of a football run by a complete tosspot in Levy does it, we literally have the worse season we have had in about 20 years. It’s a complete shambles the whole thing. Pochettino didn’t want it. Mourinho doesn’t want it judging by his comments. Another mess added to the list, to go with the countless other major fuck ups this chairman of ours keeps making at our once great club. Still , you see Spurs supporters stick up for And make excuses for Levy. Incredible. #levyout #enicout

Poch never got such massive payout

hahhaha - is this what’s is all about - losing a few million in lieu of saving the utter embarrassment and humiliation this would do the club and players for years to come. Have you no pride and backbone seeing we’re about to finish barely in the top half and we have to make a fucking reality show about it and become the laughing stock of world football just to make that shameless greedy cunt a few extra bob

You’re the very definition of everything wrong wiht then Levy fanbois these days. Disgrace!

Is anyone else still flabbergasted that this was actually given the green light?
We are literally willingly releasing a documentary where we are essentially making a complete and utter tit of ourselves to the whole football world.
ENIC, Daniel Levy, or whoever allowed this absolutely shit show to happen hang your heads you shameless, money grabbing cunts.
We’re a farce of a club. A genuine farce.
10000%

At this point even more of a joke than Woolwich

Yet you still have the Levy apologists like Airfixx Airfixx saying pulling the plug would have cost us a few million so let’s rather go with it. Poor Levy.

It’s like a fucking cult of delusion and mind control

I find it slightly ironic that people are saying Poch was right not to want the docu, after he wrote his book. Wasnt that the reason we were shit in the league last year?

Levy has done great things around this club, stadium, money etc.
But at the end of the day, that's it. On football play he' doesn't care enough about winning, just like he doesn't care about fans. This documentary proves it.

I'm done wirh him. In past I was defending him a lot, but this documentary, Poch situation... I had it enough. He's literally brining embarrassment to our club. Memes will be made, they will laugh at us for 10 more years........
