What do people think of Declan Rice for the DM role? Seems to be a decent defender and can pass. The few games I’ve seen of him, he seems to be able to spread the ball out quickly from defence which would be a big asset.

West Ham would never sell to us.

Improved tremendously this season though. Would walk into our team.

He's definitely gone up a level this season - I used to think he was pretty much Eric Dier cloned but this season he's definitely shown he's a much better. Improved tenfold.

Great with both feet, superb positionally and actually has vision.

Shame he'll ruin it though by going to Chelsea and playing centre back.

Agreed. With the lack of English players in our team, feel like it would kill two birds with one stone. Think it would improve us though but unfortuently hear very little about him moving our way. Not a CB though, has the skill set for DM role IMO.

Think it would be an improvement on Winks. Whether it’s the DM we need that’s another question but feel like Sissoko and Winks are trying to fill the one role. Rice may bring us closer to the designated DM role we need which will free up a CM or AM player and essentially make us more well rounded.
