Manager Jose Mourinho

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

In Hojbjerg, we will be signing yet another player who does not want to receive the ball under pressure and spends most of his time pointing.
Hojbjerg puts his foot in a lot more than Sissoko, and is better technically. But then so is my Mum.
Still, it's amusing that a player Guardiola seemed to like at Bayern as a Busquets/Rodri type will now be playing for an anti-tiki taka Mourinho team as a holding destroyer, pass the ball quickly, DM.

For anyone criticizing Mourinho I suggest you try and outperform him with a central midfield of Sissoko and Winks.
And before anyone mentions Can't run, won't run (Ndombele). He's shit. I'll save you the bother. Biggest waste of money in the clubs history.

He's doing a decent job with the material he has. We a crying out for Hoijberg just to shore it up in their.

I honestly think half of you watch a different sport to me.

Mourinho with the players he wants and time to mould them into his team will get us back into the top 4 and bring a trophy, it might not be pretty but I'll take it.

Jose has done a good job with a very poor squad.
We need at least 5 signing that are first 11 starters.
This is bullshit. People need to stop acting like our first XI was cobbled together from a bunch of workers at the park. We need a few signings, who doesn't, but this is a good squad with most of the talent under 30.

DM, RB, LB for our first 11 would be ideal, but then depth (striker, CB) is all we are looking to add.

I didn't mind seeing his little group hug celebration at the end. Shows they genuinely give a shit and want to challenge for a cup. That's good to see. I'm not yet convinced Mourinho and his merry men are the people to get us challenging for the top spot again but got to give him the season to prove himself.
Insane to me to see all the criticism about celebrating the results today. Do some actually prefer that our club didn't give a shit?

We started the day with only 6th to play for. We accomplished that task. Of course they had the right to be happy about it.

Should we have been more entertaining, conceded against the run of play on a counter and finished 7th? Would that make the moaners happy?

If a serial winner like Mourinho can celebrate the 6th place just after 94 minutes, surely the average Spurs fan can? Or were you expecting to miraculously finish in the top four this morning?

From 14th to 6th and a cash injection during a pandemic and no crowds leaving a lot of teams bleeding revenue I think deserves a little bit of that though. Fair play Jose, onwards and upwards and congratulations on making something out of nothing when it comes to season 19/20. Something to build on ladies and gents.

This was a cup final, we leapfrogged a team above us to guarantee us European football, I say well done.

I can't be happy when I see Lo Celso subbed and Sissoko on the pitch. I just don't get it. Don't be so scared Jose ffs.

Let's move on. Hopefully Hojbjerg will come and Winks/Sissoko partnership is over in starting lineup.

He will drive people crazy. We will probably play at least 20 league games next season where the opposition will sit back against us, and we will desperately need creativity from our centre backs and central midfielders.
That's what Ndombele and Lo Celso are for. We don't need much from our DM outside of breaking up attacks and being able to receive and pass the ball forward.
