Don't be silly we don't have any scouts

I beg to differ............

good deal that. skriniar one of the best cb in the world.

Apparently only a 50m price tag. I think we could get just short of that for Tanguy. If Conte really likes him that much we should explore the possibility. I still think Tanguy has talent but there's clearly something going on there. I'm sure Jose would love to bring in a big physical defender like Skriniar.

About Sanchez, I think it pretty much resumes the mentality of modern players. I´m not happy about being dropped (for one game), so I´ll have my agent fighting for me in the press. Disgraceful, really. Sanchez is not Baresi.

Having said that, I didn´t like the fact that Dier started on Sunday. Crystal Palace´s goal was his fault and I honestly don´t think he´s done much to deserve a guaranteed place in our first team. Until we get a better defender, our CB partnership should be Toby and Sanchez.

The goal was absolutely not Dier’s fault. The guy whiffed on the cross and Davies would have blocked it if he’d connected. It’s a weird ass fluke of a goal where Palace got a lucky bounce.

CBs are meant to cover the penalty area.
Dier and others were correctly positioned. The ball sailed at least a foot over his head to a "safe" part of the area. The guy looped a header in and then it was pinball.

Yes it was Dier's man, but at that point we had conceded a stupid number of corners already, mostly from scuffed clearances, including Aurier's for the one that led to the goal.

This has been a clear pattern to our slumping defensive form in the last 18 months. We seem unable to complete a simple clearance for a throw in.
