If we don’t buy him and he turns out to be good there will some in here claiming they have been watching him for years and that we should have bought him and we would have if levy wasn’t a tight wad! (Second part is probably true regardless)

It’s important that we don’t do a Leeds thoughTo be fair mate it's knowing your place in the chain and your willingness to spend.
So in order to do that we let the big hitters go first, so Everton, Newcastle, West ham and wolves, then we come in with the likes of Burnley, Southampton, villa etc.
This is the way we challenge and keep the club relevant, along with the expanding fan base and profile whilst paying a small fortune for the privilege.
Worth keeping in mind that Conte has been happy to raid the prem for such technical wizards as Victor Moses and Ashley Young though, do maybe it's not that out there.they don’t want sissoko. Why would a team in one of themost technical leagues in Europe want one of the players with the worst technique in the premier league?
Id love it to be true but it isn’t is it?
Should be enough for top 4 and to make a run at Europa/domestic cups. Not enough to challenge for the league.
Yes, I went a-Googling after my last message. I was beginning to wonder if I had a different interpretation of gardening leave.![]()
Mauricio Pochettino free to sign for prospective clubs as Tottenham gardening leave ends
AC Milan, Real Madrid and Newcastle all interested in signing former Spurs managerwww.telegraph.co.uk
Eh I don’t think so. The guy just seems standard at best. I’m sure City made that purchase for a corrupt financial reason

Perhaps could do a bit better for £41m? Or pay just a bit more and sign Skriniar.
If our new DM is very good and our squad stays healthy, call me crazy but I think we can challenge for the league. We have plenty of goal scoring ability and pace in our attack with Kane, Sonny, Stevie B, Lucas, and Dele. Couple that with a very strong defence and we should be able to compete for the league.

Don't you mean Moussaka ?Would also mean we could add Conte to the list of top managers that like a bit of Moussa.
So, no change then.TBH there’s no point in us looking at anyone until City have decided who they want and bought them now that there is no cap on how much they can spend. Just tell us when you’re done and we’ll see who’s left.
Not for £41m he ain't.
