Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Good lord, imagine this forum without Sissoko and Ndombele at Spurs...

Sissoko and Winks

Jose already mentioned few weeks ago he has NO say in our transfer dealings - don’t forget that over the next few weeks/months

Would be a massive error of judgment selling Ndombele

We shouldn't be selling Ndombele after one season , he has the ability to top class. Selling him and bringing in Brooks, I don't understand it.

Not exactly what he said. He said that he has good dialogue with the scouts and Levy about what he needs. But he isn't involved in the actual negotiations (because why should he?). And this is not different from 99% of other clubs out there. Managers aren't involved in transfer negotiations these days unless their names are Ragnick and possibly Bielsa.

Mourinho bloody collects centre backs doesn't he. I have no idea if Ndombele would come good but the talent is there, it should be down to a manager to bring it out. If we do this swap we'd have 5 centre backs and Lo Celso as our only vaguely creative threat. He did the same at United, bought Bailley and Lindelof for £80m, already had Smalling, Rojo and Jones then had a hissy fit because they didnt buy another centre back in the summer 18 window. Would have thought our priorities are elsewhere personally. Rather get cash if we're going to sell and spend it on an area we need .

Do you think we should sell Ndombele or not?

If Tanguy himself wants to leave, sure. There's no logic in keeping a player that actively wants to leave.

As it stands after one season I am ambivalent to him. All the warnings from Lyon fans about him being lazy and having attitude issues have seemingly come to pass. He absolutely has a very high ceiling but if he is not willing to put in the work then we are wasting our time and money.

I would of course love for him to come good in his second season and adapt. But IF Tanguy himself wants out as the reports in France say then I think we would be wise to recoup what we can and rebuild without him.

Dan KP also says that Spurs are not in talks about selling him and he is usually as reliable as you can get when it comes to us.

Its not about collecting defenders, the job of woodward was to move on the deadwood, thus balancing the books, even today, smalling and jones are on their books, not sure about rojo.

Also Bailly was bought for close to 30 mill, and linderof was 30 mill, plus 7 mill add ons.

There is nothing wrong with buying a player, finding they are not the grade and moving them on, thats football, and also life, if you buy and sell things, "think market stall owners or secondhand dealers",the back drop, is in some cases the transfer you will make a lost, but in other cases, you will make a profit and balance the books.

Defenders and defending is an important part of the game, just ask pep who lost one defender and as a result was 20 odd points behind liverpool.

Or better still ask Klopp, who until the arrival of V Dijk, liverpool were a joke, undoing the good work of the forwards, by the calamity at the back.

Toby, Davinson, Dier and Tanganga are a perfectly fine group of CBs . The issue is DM and fullbacks. Improve that and watch our whole structure looks more solid.

this is like saying keep buying strikers for goals but it’s pointless if you have no good wingers or creative midfielders.

That's what the dinosaur has made you believe, fat lazy and cannot keep himself fit to play football matches.

The truth is, he's being mismanaged by a hasbeen footballing neanderthal who has no clue how to get the best out of a talent like him.

Your deluded, Jose had Essein and ballack,in his team, who both are just as talented as Ndombele, and they put in a shift

Oh and i forgot a certain xabi alonso

If Ndombele applied himself, we would look a much better outfit instantly

Poch was also critical of Tanguy's fitness and adaptation to the league. He just worded it more nicely.

And Lyon fans did warn us that he was "a bit lazy" and had issues with his attitude.

Ndombele's issues did not start with Mourinho's entrance.

If its the finishing touches i dont disagree but when you need 2 fullbacks, a holding midfielder, a creative no 10, a striker at the very least and 3 of your 4 centre backs are 26 or under i dont think its near the top of our priorities. We'd be better putting that money into getting someone like Ndidi.
