How can you build your team around a guy that has spent his whole career being too lazy to be in shape? That after getting a life altering, massive deal was too lazy to come into his new team in shape? When given a 2 month break with nothing to do but get in shape after being called out for being lazy, was too lazy to get in shape?

I know people will try and spin this as a Jose thing, but Jose didn't cut him from his 4th division French side because he was too lazy when he was 19. This has been a pattern of his for his short career and even when he has every motivation in the world to change it he chooses not to.

I mean it would be one thing if he had the talent to act like this, maybe teams would be willing to over look some of his laziness and find a use for him but he has never shown to be close to good enough to overlook the crap he brings, let alone overlook it to build a team around.

I don't see how Spurs can afford to waste a spot and money on this loser when they could get a player that could actually help the team. We don't have enough talent and we don't have an owner willing to spend enough to take the chance that this is the time that Ndombele will finally put the effort in to get in shape and that if by some miracle he actually does it that this mythical talent that he supposedly has but has never shown will be there ready to help us win.

That is two massive gambles that most likely results in us playing Winks or Sissoko in the MF next season while asking GLC to create everything once again. If we are lucky we may be able to match our 6th place this year again but I am not sure many of us want to watch a repeat of last season.

I just don’t see this lazy player everyone wants to talk about. Sure, show me the clip of him chasing that player, but then I could show you the through balls and the breaking of the press and so forth.

From what I have seen of Ndombele in a spurs shirt is a small sample size, but he is what I would build my team around. Ozil, for all his bullshit, is similar in terms of keeping him in a team, because he is that good. Tanguy has limitations, but for me, his strengths are truly something you would want to create in FIFA career mode.

That concerns me, we all know how talented he is, he could easily end up being our Mo Salah, De Bruyne.
He is clearly very talented, but could he become a top player in England (like for instance De Bruyne)? No doubt he can shine for PSG or possibly in Italy or Spain, it might be that he isn't suited for the PL.

At this point I think the odds are 50-50 that he will ever become a success here.

I think it’s more how he plays, there is no mystery as to why he is linked with Barca, he is an outstanding ball player, great with the ball but not so great without it. A team that hogs possessions fits him perfectly. He is the most frustrating thing about us right now, he comes on the pitch, changes the game completely then gases after 20-30 mins.

The issue we seem to have is..

Levy doesn't want to sell Ndombele.
Mourinho doesn't trust Ndombele and doesn't think he's working hard enough.
Ndombele doesn't get along well with Mourinho.
Ndombele's reps want to get Tanguy out.

The only way he is sold is if a deal is put in front of us which is too good to refuse, and it would have to be a serious offer. Skrinair is brilliant, but I'd rather keep Tanguy.

I don't know anything about Skrinair but assuming you're right and he's brilliant...

The question is whether he would slot in from the get-go, get up to speed in a couple of games and become the midfielder we hoped Tanguy would be.

Or would he too take time to adapt and develop, find his place in the team and in a new city and so on, just as TN and many others have done before?

There's obviously no way of knowing but you'd lean toward the second scenarion being more likely.

I should have just typed "I agree" really

Let’s see what offers arrive for Ndombele. Of course we will take the posture of “he’s not for sale, we want him to succeed”, doing anything else would lower the price.

I’m sure Mourinho has other midfielders in mind and if we get an offer that gives us most of our money back, I’m sure we would take it. Levy is not going to force Mourinho to try again with Ndombele if it’s feasible to replace him with a player he actually rates.

Skriniar is a centre back. Not a midfielder. Incredibly highly rated for a 25 year old.

Yesterday there was also the possibility of Inter trading Brozovic, who is a defensive midfielder with a bit of playmaker thrown for Tanguy touted about however.

So it seems that Conte (who is incredibly demanding) wants N’Dombele and he was just fine with Pogba too. Funnily enough, Deschamps is fine with Pogba, OGS is Fine with Pogba. Seems that there’s one guy who was the odd one out.... the same guy who got rid of Salah & De Bruyne and wanted to bomb out Martial and never rated Rashford.

Mourinho didn't sell Salah, and being fair with it, he was never as good as Willian and Hazard at the time he was at Chelsea. De Bruyne was also very young. He was right to sell Lukaku.

Mourinho gets the blame for Pogba, but it's not like it's been plain sailing for OGS either. Pogba does what he wants and OGS just gives in, Mourinho isn't like that.

Apparently Parrott turned down Bournemouth and Celtic to go to Millwall. As much as I think Millwall is the better choice, it would have been good to send him to Bournemouth to sweeten a deal for Wilson.

It's better to get him a move that will get him gametime rather than use him as a piece of bait and fuck him over in the process.

Yeah, Pogba won a couple of trophies under José as a regular starter before he tried to force his way out of United (under the influence of dickhead Raiola), remains to be seen whether he will ever win another one at United.
