It seems they still have a lot money left from the Joao Felix sale too
That would explain it to some extent then.....

Poor old Sir Alex. He had no idea he had peaked 20 years before he won everything.......
We now have our own fans saying they don't want us to spend big......because big signings don't work out for Spurs. Little old Spurs. So there’s enough left to pay the bald’s cunt massive salary and bonus

Daniel Levy must be creaming in his pants.
Spot on. Its our painful approach to outgoings, the whole 1 in 1 out approach that messes us up every summer and why deals drag on and on. If you know a player is likely to leave but hasnt yet that should not bloody be preventing you from signing someone. If you cant offload said player then so what? We have an extra body in the squad. Painful fact is i dont expect anymore signings until one of Rose/Foyth/Aurier leaves.![]()
Bale, Celik, Coutinho, Wilson - Examining 22 Spurs summer transfer rumours
As always Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with players across the world in the summer transfer market and it's time to look at which ones are likely to happenwww.football.london
Gotta laugh at this. One out for one in because of the squad quota for foreign players.
I don't dispute we'll take this approach.
Meanwhile Chelsea, City, United, Liverpool and even the goons just ostracize unwanted players and replace them whether they're sold or not. And that's why they win stuff and we don't.

Exactly. Have you ever heard the home grown quota cited as a reason for not signing a foreign player for any other club in Europe? I certainly haven't
I'm hearing from inside sources that we will play the other 19 PL teams home and away, as well as some shit European teams in the EL before washing out to one of them.

This is true as I have mentioned before, not all of Liverpool's team are world class such as Henderson and 1/2 others.I want us to spend what it takes to get the right players. Not piss £60m up the wall on someone who was so badly scouted they couldn’t see he can’t complete a series of 90 minutes football matches for example. Spend a lot on quality sure, but don’t neglect the opportunistic bargains. That’s what I suspect he meant too. Hojbjerg may be one of those. You might want us to spend £50m on every player but they might not be the best ones for us as Ndombele has proved.
I don’t want us to spend big, I want us to spend BIGLY! Let’s make spurs great again! We now have our own fans saying they don't want us spend big......because big signings don't work out for Spurs. Little old Spurs.

‘Reads the game’ = stands still until pacy headless winger runs into them/ too slow to keep up with the game
Wonder if Levy has inserted a covid clause in his 5 year contract? So are we still expecting a Hojbjerg announcement this evening then?
