Timo Werner is one of the hottest attacking prospects in Europe.
Almost every one of our fans would have been happy if we'd signed him and if we'd sign Ziyech
I confess to have not seen Havertzm but he seems in demand.

Their defence will get sorted because their chairman will back his manager.
Our squad won't, because ours is a ***t.

Yes, very talented players. And I agree we'd all have been happy with Werner, Havertz and Ziyech. Must admit, I don't really rate Ziyech as highly as some do on here. But he definitely strengthens their depth.

We do however have Kane, who would still walk into that Chelsea team, despite their new signings and Son, who again you could probably argue gets into that Chelsea team too.

If they don't strengthen their defence. They'll be troubled next season.

Thing is, they're adding Werner to a team that already has Giroud, Batshit, Abrahams and Pedro
They're adding Ziech to a midfield/attack that already has Pulisic, Barkley, etc because listing all their options is irritating me lol

Buatshaiyi will leave this summer and Pedro has already gone.

Barkley is wank.

Yes, their depth in attack and midfield is great. But it's still Frank Lampard coaching them and good teams are built on great defences. They had the worst defensive record in the top 10 last season...

Lets see if they invest in defenders. I wouldn't be surprised to see us try to sign a CB and a RB only to see our targets end up at Chelsea whilst we're stood there with nothing but our dicks in our hands.

Yeah, we can only just wait and see what happens.

I personally think Lampard is happy with half the defence. Hopefully he restores his faith in Kepa and they don't strengthen as much as needed.
 
Even with Chelsea’s new signings I would still take our first choice attack over theirs and I would still take our defenders over theirs.

they have better and much more balanced midfield options but if Hojberg can do a competent job for us at DM then that’s already half the battle won.

People get lost in transfer figures and wages paid, But all they have done so far is upgrade an attack that was already functioning. They’re defensive record is awful this season.
 
So that looks like one important signing done (touch wood)

We now need some backup in the full back positions, and at least one creative player for squad purposes as we look light with a couple of injuries.

A backup to Lloris would also be good.

Makes me laugh, Giroud was considered a "disgusting" symbol of a lack of ambition when we tried to sign him in Jan; now he's a stick to beat us with and an emblem of worldclass depth.

Kane (+Giroud) = Boo.
Werner (+Giroud) = Galactico!

I think Werner would probably start for us. Either as a wide forward or partnering Kane to be honest.
