Leicester now linked to Ikone. They've also been linked to Tagliafico.

They seem like a pretty well ran club tbh. They aren't scared to sell to the bigger clubs because they are good with their signings. Sell a star player for a fortune and buy 2-3 with the money you make from the sell. Stay competitive. Rinse and repeat. This seems to be the path they're trying to take (which makes sense because they can't afford huge wages). Turning into the Dortmund of the PL.

Leicester have one of the biggest analytics recruitment departments just like Liverpool. No coincidence they keep buying good players.

Guess we should just turn to Chelsea of... North London then :D ?

Wait until Leicester finds target, lurk quietly, when deal is close to be completed, rush in, offer 1 mil more and sign the player for yourself :D ...

But yea, without a doubt they have made brilliant purchases of late with likes of Pereira, Chillwell, Madisson, turkish Shideshow Bob, Ndidi, Tielmans and even offering veteran Evans contract. Most of them would be starters for us and they were signed on cheap.
Ofc they have also failed with some as well - Gray, Slimani, Iheanacho, Silva, Praet but this is part of the strategy essentially.

But on serious note - why have we not been linked to Gueye?!?

Obviously we should have rushed for him like crazy when he was relegated with Villa... Everton got him for peanuts. But PSG took him from Everton and now there has been speculation of moving him forward again (which is not surprising from PSG, Gueye is no flashy-Neymar-kind-of-superstar)... I get he will be 31 soon, but say offering 15 mil for very EPL proven DM for say 2-3 seasons would still be decent business, or what do you guys think?

I wanted him when he was at Everton but he wasn't "good enough" at the time for some sections of the fanbase. As a whole that is, not just on here.

This is the path that levy has always been keen on, purchase younger upcoming talent, then polish it up and sell on for big money then do it again whilst remaining competitive to a degree.
