If true, then the Levy brinkmanship fails again, well done Danny boy.

Journalist Alasdair Gold, who has watched the opening episodes of the docuseries revealed an exchange between Jose Mourinho and Serge Aurier.
The Spurs head coach bluntly told the Ivorian before the Champions League match against Olympiacos at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium that he was afraid of his defensive capabilities and he was going to have to mark opposition players from corner kick.
Gold quoted Mourinho as saying within an article on Football.London: I am afraid of you as a marker, because you are capable of doing a **** penalty, with VAR. So I am telling you already that I am afraid of you.”

"I am afraid of you" - Mourinho bluntly tells player what he thinks of his defending

I must have been watching a different player for the past two years. He is a strong but clumsy tackler at best, poor at defending crosses with his head, poor positional sense, can cross it ok but has no real vision. Pretty sure Mourinho will try to get a full back who is a defender first and formostAurier made the 3rd most successful tackles in the EPL last season and is ranked 31 in the number of fouls committed.
His reputation as a poor tackler is completely wrong.
His issue is often his poor clearances under pressure and; those fouls he does give away being in dangerous areas.
Can you show me some examples of Levy's critics saying he should be selling our players for more money? We want Levy to start selling players for more money to generate funds. But when we don't lover our asking price it's suddenly brinkmanship?
Don't get me wrong. I understand being critical of Levy. But in some cases it feels like he cannot win.
Can we try that again please?Bro james rodriguez is not a baller again no even on son level much less he was so 10 years ago duuuh

He's 33 until he's 34. that's how it works!I see 'He's 33' is trending in relation to Messi.
He is closer to 32 than 34 though......

If Everton can afford it, then we certainly can.Suppose it all depends on wages. What would a former "Galactico" want?
Went to that game.
Levy says Everton haven't spent 1 billion on a new stadium
Other clubs need to be realistic as well though. Aurier, as catastrophic as he can be, is a very experienced right back who has won multiple league titles, Champions League experience and played at the top level. With 2 years left on his deal we are in our rights to ask for £20-23m.We want Levy to start selling players for more money to generate funds. No, instead they spent £1b on fucking horrible players like Iwobi, Sigurdsson, Kean and Pickford.
And he is his national team captain on top of that.Other clubs need to be realistic as well though. He is worth £18m. Problem is he has 2 years left on his contract, we wont want to give him a new one and he wouldnt want to sign anyway so what we can get this summer is fhe best we're going to get for him. If he doesnt leave this window we'll have a disinterested, flakey right back who'll be worth £7m next summer and we wont improve the side. Sometimes you have to take the hit, you cant win every deal. And he is his national team captain on top of that.
The rumored 18 mil that we want are in my mind perfectly reasonable.
I don't think that this dance with Milan is over yet so we will see. And we have Leverkusen interested as well.He is worth £18m.
