Signing Reguilon would make one more options for our full-back formation. We know that Mourinho likes to leave back 3 defenders when defending so this options:

Reguilon-Tanganga(at RB)
Davies-Doherty
Davies-Gedson
Sessegnon-Toby or Dier could play there

It would be exciting and logical too. Especially the first ones are pretty solid.

I'd also suggest Reguilon at LWB and Doherty at RWB with three CBs as an option.

Speaking about this summer transfer, if we assume Doherty is signing, it has been a sensible transfer window. Two players with PL experience, quite cheap, and both have the profile to become 'Mourinho soldiers'. I believe Doherty is a big upgrade on Aurier, while Pierre is an understandable option for a short of quality midfield area. Joe Hart, he will definitely be a sub, but in my opinion a player who will benefit mentally from working under Jose.

Assuming a back up striker will be signed.. Who do you think that player could be?
Also, do you think there will be any signings apart from Doherty and a striker?

Based on what I've seen from PEH thus far, we're going to need another DM. I'm not actually sure that he plays remotely near that position. He's been more advanced than the other CM in both matches now

Zaniolo is Dybala/Isco/Moutinho of this window. Even if Roma agrees the supposed 50m bid, ENIC will find a way to sabotage the deal.

Once the window shuts, Airfixx Airfixx will come to convince us that enic tried their best to complete this signing but these transfers are never easy.
