Given the kind of shit he was talking after he left, I think it's funny.
I think this will either be a lot funnier or a lot sadder after watching the first three episodes of the documentary tomorrow.
I'd be very surprised if that happened. He was rather salty about us after he left.
Really not keen on Josh King. 6 goals last season, most he has scored in one season is 16 and that was 3 years ago and he's 29 in a few months. Not really good enough to cover for Kane as a centre forward and not really good enough to play as a wing forward. For i'm guessing a couple of million more Olly Watkins would be a much better shout.
I'm not against Watkins as an option but if we are criticizing King's 6 goals in the PL as evidence of him not being good enough cover for Kane, I think it would be equally concerning that Watkins is 24 with zero goals at any top league in football.
The appeal for King is the price, if we are looking for a quality cover for Kane we likely have to look in the higher cost range than King or Watkins.
Grass is always greener, unfortunately the distance between the corner flag and the nearest goal post is the same in Italy as it is in the UK.........

Watkins got 26 goals last season, at a similar age King wasnt hitting double figures at Blackburn in the championship. Not saying Watkins is a sure thing, its a risk with no top level minutes but we dont know how he will turn out. I think i could hazard a guess on King because at his age with 5 years in the prem what you see is what you get. Very average and wont get better. I do agree if we want proven we'll have to find some more money from somewhere.
He talked about "taking a step up" and "competing for titles". Claiming that he could not do that with Spurs. He's become more complimentary about us since things went top side at Inter tho.
There is also talks about there being a section in the new Amazon series where Levy and Mourinho talk about the Eriksen situation and him apparently cutting all ties with the club. Stops responding to calls, emails and such and has it all go through his agent as a way to force a move.
But since the show is not out yet I cannot confirm if that is legit or not.

I said there are a lot of reasons that he wouldn't come here.
And than asked where he would fit in our formation. I was trying to figure out what his best position was because he seems to play the same position as GLC and Alli and was wondering if he would also fit in a deeper lying role.
Again this is why reading what people actually post rather than just making up stuff to fit in your narrative is important.
Can you name me one player that you do like?
State of this place or the state of our club where we won't pay proper fees to address issues that the club has?
King is better than the nobody we have in that spot now or playing Moura in that role.
I think everyone would chose to have someone much better than King but with Levy in charge what is the point in going into detail about players he won't come close to paying for.
