With the players we have we are going to grind out results. When it doesn't work like yesterday it is horrible to watch and unfortunately that's down to the tactics.

I don't think our issues are down to tactics. The problem is the players just aren't good enough. We've stagnated as a team while rivals have been constantly improving. Starting Bergwijn over Lucas could be an option, but I don't think it would make a big difference.

Jose is a fantastic manager, and still one of the best in the world.

I can't believe someone saw how Woolwich declined so much due to stadium costs and thought 'ah that looks like a good idea for us'.
We should have just renovated WHL for 1/3rd of a cost of a new stadium, and then spent the rest on players. What's the point of the best stadium in the world if the football being played in it is shit.

I tend to agree with this, we definitely need to be starting Bergwijn over Lucas, and really we need to be starting Ndombele over Winks since Winks is such a passenger, he can't be the focal passer in the midfield. Get Lo Celso back fit and get him in for Dele, then I think this team could look a lot better, but maybe not enough for top 4, not sure. It still doesn't solve someone like Ben Davies at LB and still doesn't really have a DM.

Bailey is crap. His goal and assist output for Leveruksen is not close to Havertz. Seen him play a few times and he's looked mediocre.

I do like the idea of GLC as the most attacking mid. Bring Dele out and play Hojberg and Ndombele behind him as you say. His dribbling and passing ability means he's as creative as Eriksen a few years ago.
However, Eriksen had a better shot. That's why I think we should try and bring in Zaha. Gets goals and assists and has the ability to break down a packed defence.

Well there we go. I'll trust your take on this one having watched him more.

The last thing we need is a pacey winger. I cannot fathom what the fuck we're currently trying to do. Does José think we can replicate Liverpool's success in bypassing the middle of the park without having the quality of fullbacks etc? Madness
