While somewhat exciting this all seems very scattershot, I think the alarming nature of the loss on Sunday has accelerated the transfer issues.
While I'm happy with the Reguilon deal (nice player who I like a lot) with the buyback (we'll probably only have him for 2 seasons) the Bale/Alli thing is a potential stinker that could be bad for all sides involved.

Dele seems more interested in his fashion line and mustache choices than he does in improving his fitness or his game, so yea, if we could get Bale (on 1/3rd or less wages) and Reguilon in for him, I think that would be an improvement for us. On current form though we'd never get more than 50m for him anyways, and if he did actually have a bust-up with Mou, it's doubtful that situation will improve and he makes himself more sell-able anyways.
No reason for it to be a deal breaker then.

So maybe Alli was substituted on Sunday because an offer was suddenly being discussed and we couldn't risk him getting injured ?? (Just a thought)
I'd be very hesitant to let him go because of that chance, but I think he just desperately needs a big change of scenary to push on. At least England would benefit.
Honestly think Pep would coach Winks into a better player. Simply adding more progressive passing to his game will be an improvement. I can't see how our coaches or Winks himself can't see this. Mourinho refers to this in the doc. He says he was lateral passer before he arrived but now thinks he has improved his range. Da fuq is he watching?

Try naming a worse set of central defenders in the top 8... Just not good enough. If we go for 3 atb we NEED a top central defender who can pass and dribble past the first line of pressing.
