Made your bed now lay in it my friend.

In other news... Ruben Dias? Yes please.

Wouldn't have it any other way (except maybe the spitting and hair pulling), that was the point.

In eastern traditions, we are said to be bound to Samsara (cyclicality of all life), to free ourselves from this we must release our materialistic bondage, then we may reach Moksha.

This is brilliantly described by the monks, who spend days upon days creating beautiful rice art, only to destroy it as soon as it's finished.

Any idea if the option is mutually enforceable or just on us? Whilst a low chance Madrid would request him back for his final year,it would be a shame if he had a big impact and we wanted him for a 2nd year only for Madrid to stop us..and potentially loan him/sell him elsewhere for a bigger fee?

You can't just forcibly sell a player against their will.

If RM bring him back they'll just be back to square 1 where they'vebeen for the last 2 years.... Huge wages that no club wants to take on.

If the insipid display against Everton spurred Levy into handing Mourinho the necessary funds to boost the quality of the squad , then hopefully it will have been worth it in the long run.

Can't see Diaz happening. Unless we really do have a lot more money than first thought and Lewis and Levy have decided to play with the big boys.

I think we'll get Kim and either Weghorst or Diallo.

Ings would be superb, but we're leaving it too late in the market for that, as Southampton will demand a lot and will need to replace him.

Agreed but I assume Real would have contact with Bale's agent around any potential interested at the year mark before exercising any break option (if mutual). Obviously they wouldn't take him back if no interest and have this play out all over again.
Sounds very much like we have a get out at the 1 year mark if all goes tits up,whilst 2 years would be cracking if he does succeed on his return. Ideal!
