Is anyone else concerned that we haven't announced Reguilon, I mean understand why Bale might get delayed, but what's the hold up with Reguilon? My concern is that the two deals are entwined in some way, ie we get Reguilon or Reguilon at a price deal structure partly because we are getting Bale (or a chunk of Bale) off their books? And the Reguilon deal is in some way interconnected?
I'm pretty sure the deals are linked in some way, especially if Romano is correct and RM's buy back is as high as 45 million Euros making it a good deal for us.
But if there is a problem with Bale's medical, then there will be extensive, high stakes, negotiations going on between Levy, Barnett & RM, and they won't want any suggestions of say a medical issue being publicly speculated about by announcing Reguilon alone.
If we announce Reguilon, and not Bale, cyberspace will go nuts.

Nah, they're just busy creating some silly announcement videos.

Spurs haven’t put any tweets today.

Our U23s beat West Ham last night.
Our U18’s beat Woolwich today.
We have a league game tomorrow, no flash back to past goals or team news tweets, training pics.

This makes me more confident it’s going to be a big announcement.

Surely the reason is there are thousands of people doing your job and only one Tom Hanks - if you were the only single person that knew how to save lives you'd be paid billions.

Bale is in top 0.001% of people that have tried playing football
Sports imo is entertainment
The fees for all entertainers in the public eye is imo obscene. Compare the wealth of the Lady Gagas et al and consider the lack of it amongst people who are not only more worthwhile but are doing things that will also lead to the betterment of society in the future. The 1000s of scientists working on reducing climate change for instance. Do you really think that the "contributions " of Gareth and Justin Bieber etc are really reflective of their importance? Because I don't. However, the world is more interested in money than anything remotely altruistic so it will continue.

He scored a hattrick last weekend in the cup.

Mainz don't kick off their Bundesliga campaign until tomorrow at Leipzig - so will be interesting to see how he does if he's in the team.

6 ft 4 unit though - so definitely could have some legs if we're linked with Weghorst too.
Spent most of last season out injured.

Quaizon is better IMO but Mateta has the height of a target man that Jose likes.

I’m guessing they will announce it after this afternoons football. Will fit in with the pre match hype tomorrow (interview etc for BT sport) and put a dampener on el cuntico this evening.
:levylol:

Definitely waiting on something aren't they?

Not tweeted a single thing out in 18 hours.

Today alone we've won 2 North London Derbies and we have a fucking game tomorrow..

IMO announcing one player rather than both would raise more questions about why the other hadnt been announced - atm speculation includes whether its some complex publicity/video delaying a joint announcement which may be true but doesnt affect the value of the deal, announcing Reguilon by himself raises questions about Bale.

Relax, they were never going to play against Southampton, so a little delay is no problem in the real world - although I'd like it asap !
