Suarez would have been allowed to leave for Juve but they don't have a non-EU spot and he couldn't get (cheat the test) an Italian passport through his wife quick enough.
We'll regret signing Doherty over Aarons. Doherty will probably do a good job for us over the next two seasons, but so would Aarons and he'll be a top player long term.
Don't want Sefirovic, what little I've seen of him doesn't make me think he'd be a suitable starter were Kane to get injured for any length of time.
Have a feeling we end up with a CB we haven't been linked with yet. Looking forward to seeing who, but a little worried about Mourinho's player evaluation. We need something approaching a top level CB which will be tough to get done.
Hoping for the best and pretty positive about us right now.

Yeah, but I was referring to way earlier in the window when Suarez thought his deal was terminated. Then it wasn't. Then Juve called Baca for a transfer. Suarez screwed that up so Bortemu said he'd terminate the deal. And now he says he won't.

Two years in a good team will leave him with a very high valuation. Also think we'd be a better team with him right now over Doherty, especially if we'll be playing with a back four. Don't get me wrong, I like Doherty, I just like Aarons more.
I am not sure that Aarons would have done that great a job for us this season or even next.
I would have been fine adding him if we had someone like Doherty to give him time to develop and improve but having him as the first choice RB based on his play last year would have been really risky. His play last year was not close to good enough.
I think he is young enough and has enough physical talent that he could get there but he is not at that level currently.

The guy is not going to be cheap, has injury concerns, isn't a guy who will push Kane for starts and has seemingly done everything he can to not come here.
I know at this point we can't really be picky as we need someone to play in the EL/Cup games up front and Milik would be fine for that role but it sure seems like he would be coming only because nobody else wanted him and he couldn't go where he really wanted to go. That does not seem like a great kind of attitude to bring in.

I think he is leaving because RM have Mendy and Marcelo at RB and it makes sense to loan/sell him with a buy back now so that he can play regularly and then bring him back when Marcelo is done in a year or two or if Mendy gets hurts/starts to suck.
