Can’t believe people are still bitching in a window where we could be signing 5 new starters

I am very happy with how this window is going but we have to remember several years of very mainly inadequate transfer windows meant we kind of had to or give up on getting back into top 4. We left ourselves a mountain, but it looks like we might be climbing it. A good CB and CF has always been the essential component of this window and if we do it then well done to the club.

It's interesting that he says that when not so long ago he was saying the squad was bloated, and the team looks like it's negotiating a further two incomings.

It's all gone very quiet on outgoings, when Aurier was seemingly off a month ago.

I suspect we’ll see Foyth, Gazza, Rose and CCV leave with Aurier likely as well.

Haven't Spurs made the biggest profit of all clubs two years in a row. Must be money to spend. And what better time to spend it than when prices are low.

I think from the fringe players, whoever doesn't feature tomorrow night could be odds on to be shifted during this window , i also think we could also see Sessegnon heading out unless its true that Jose wants to play a back 3 with Davies on as the LCB and we see Sess as backup for Reggie?

sessegnon going out on loan makes sense and I think would be good for his development.

What I find interesting about Ings is that the Southampton board haven't come out and denied they'll sell Ings. It was reported that Southampton are one of the teams that have struggled most with the Covid pandemic, hence such little business. If it turns out now that they might not have fans until March 2021 then they might be forced to sell Ings.

However, if they are I imagine a queue of teams will be in for him.
I did my ITK on this the info was he wants the move but will NOT shit on the saints and Rabbithusle is livid at the thought of it. I believe the asking price is £45 million. He is 28 but it literally would be like getting a photocopy of Kane. It's a fascinating idea in that I'd would really extend Kanes career and potency not that he would see it.

I think we all need to just calm down and accept the fact that there are a section of supporters in here who would always find fault no matter what new signings were made and another who would be deliriously happy regardless of our transfer window activity.

I do however feel it unjustly critical to complain about any lack of signings when the transfer window is still open. I appreciate the view that we should have had our targets established and attempted to get them signed quickly but if they fall outside of our budget despite intense negotiations or choose another club then the club has to switch it's priorities to other players.

There is little point in throwing £15m away on some never been heard of striker just to say the manager has had his wish and the fans will be sated. They will not. Mourinho knows the standard of player he wants and so do the fans. It's not a marquee signing we need but they do have to have an established career as a recogniseed goal scorer.

Let's wait until the morning of October 6th and rip the bones out of the whole transfer window before we make too many assumptions about how it will all turn out.
