For years I could see tha he had talent and could have a future with us, now I can't see that anymore, he's declining for a long time and seems to think with the speed of a Pentium I.I like the guys effort but it is hard to see how anyone could think that he can be anything more than a late game sub used when up to press the other team.
i know there was a poster who thinks he should be our starting 10 but it is clear that he cannot come close enough to see the game to play in any midfield role let alone the starting 10. He just cannot see the open passes let alone see the difficult ones.
Agree, hadn't looked on here at all and feel like people are watching a different game than I am. Also Chelsea's XI is clearly much closer to their starting XI than ours.Honestly don't think it is as bad as some are making it out to be. It is uninspired and we are more or less there to get it over with so we can focus on the league and EL but it's not like Chelsea are laying siege to our goal. They are dominating possession but they've only had a few shots on target.
Bring on Thursday.
We're playing without a striker. Loads of lads who haven't played regularly or are new.
Hopefully we improve in the second half.
But can a player who looks out of his depth really have the talent?
Chelsea can’t defend, so we setup tactically to allow their defence a free ride?!Seems a carbon company of the issues we had at home with them last time
I've been saying for ages that he isn't good enough
He lacks the picture in his head of what he’s gonna do with the ball before he gets it that all the best players have. He can manipulate it, he can play great balls, but he needs two or three touches to decide what to do.He's SO close to being genius, but there's that final 10% missing that generally leads to losing the ball, getting a yellow card or both.
