Transfers Summer 2020 Transfer Thread

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Skriniar isn't coming unless the price drops significantly from the 60m Inter are demanding, how about a last minute bid for Partey? decent enough and it would piss of the goons. Not sure he's a Mourinho type player lacks discipline and is prone to a brain-fart ... maybe he is more Woolwich's style.

How about stealing Rice from West Ham ... again that would have Hammers heads exploding and in a decent squad I reckon he can do a job, and he's still only 21
Rice is a shit harry winks

I said if we get in a striker I will be happy with this window, so I declare myself happy with this window. Anybody else we get in now, is a bonus in my book..

Yep. I don't think anyone should complain about a transfer window that consisted of Doherty, Hart, Hojbjerg, Hart (doing ok tbf!), Bale, Reguilon and Vinicius.

Adding Skriniar to that would make it a 10/10 window. But regardless, it's easily the best transfer window we've had in many, many years. Some clever, intelligent deals in there too.

I thought Hart looked solid last night. Nothing he could really have done about either of those goals. He looked confident in what he had to do and looks calm with the ball at his feet. Worse transfers to have done. I expect he'll feel this is a massive opportunity for himself when his career looked to be descending. Playing games like last night are no disgrace and there are plenty to go around. Like Davies last night, we need him and Sissoko, probably not our desired starters but bloody good squad players. Hopefully they will all remain happy.

Always liked Joe, who's a bloody good keeper and a really decent lad off the pitch. The way some fans (of other clubs) and the media have been bashing him over the years, making him the No 1 scapegoat for England's failures is pretty shameful - and darn right unfair - to be honest. I'm very glad he's with us now and he did very well last night, considering how poor how defence was. Plenty more good stuff to come from the big man. Keep it up Joe boy

That Vinicius kid looks decent...good pace, sees a pass, eye for goal...but more importantly he's got the physical attributes to 1/ be a typical Mou striker 2/ handle the move to the EPL quite easy (on that front). And at 3mil the loan with no obligation to buy him in a year's time, that's seriously good business from DL & co...still, makes you wonder how it's only going thru now if he truly was Jose's 1st choice, knowing Benfica got no time to replace him now...so yeah a bit weird but he's here and that's the main thing.

But as last night once again showed, we could really do with another CB, who potentially could play RB too. Dier, Sanchez & Toby really aren't safe enough, especially if Mou sticks with 2 CB formation and knowing that the FB will be Matt and Reggy, both of whom are ace going forwards but some glaring limits when it comes to defending. Doh struggled big time last night against a team that was very average so imagine the damage vs Rashford, Salah, Auba & co. And if we do keep hold of Serge, he's no better at defending.

So yeah hopefully we can bring in a solid, adaptable defender before the deadline. Might just have to let Rose and others walk for free to make that happen, though. At least we'll get their wages off the books

If Vinicius works out the good thing is it could leave us with a lot less work to do next summer. Probably spend the bulk of the money on an elite DM and find a young creative AM who could become elite. Zakaria and Szoboszlai would be my picks.

If Vinicius is so good he has to start, I for one would fucking love to see Harry Kane playing at CAM for us- would be an absolutely deadly combination.

I'm still in disbelief we are actually getting him. ::Swoon::
I remember when we signed Jannsen the idea was to play them both. I can see Kane playing just behind him. This would give us another option especially when playing at home against a packed defence.

Some shady blackmailing stuffs behind the scene maybe? It's clearly crazy deal to pull off, given Benfica is giving us the try before purchase term on one of their hottest asset despite not short of cash when they just sold Dias to Shitty. Can't be easy.
