Tbh, I don' think City are as impressive as they appear on paper now.....
The FA Cup, we always shoot ourselves in the foot and here again, we're behind the dippers, Utd, Chel, City & the goons in terms of experience/know how. We'd get to the semis against a giant and quite probably lose it in dramatic circumstances...a la Spurs. But it's not totally impossible and God how I'd love to win that one, smashing the mugs from across the road in the final
The Europa League is real tough, but that could be a shout, depends on the draw for knockout stages obviously. Mou's done it before with a worse team ha ha
The Carabanana Cup is the most likely of the lot IMO. Get past Stoke then with a bit of luck get a decent draw next round (Newcastle) and it's game on. Hate that competition and want it to get fucked but that's a trophy
You seem to be searching for reasons why we can't win.
IMO we're a legit threat to any of those cups and bang in the mix for top 3.

Lads, even with Skrin and a proper DM, let's be realistic: wouldn't win the Prem for sure, too big of a gap with L'pool and also with City once they stop being unlucky with injuries to huge players like Laporte & Sergio.

I sincerely hope we've done all this for more than one Carabao cup. Not that I'm complaining if we win something!
Let's push the boat out for Skriniar, it's been a while since we did that for a centre half

But I don't see why he couldn't deliver from day one. He's incredibly suited to the Premier League. Especially when Skriniar has the weaknesses he does.
We haven't really moved any first team squad member out either, Skipp on loan is about it. Even Rose is still on the books even if he is training in outer Siberia. The first team squad must be enormous now.Yeah cause after his original claim, he saw them play

How many more midfielders do you think we should sign? I don’t want us to be some oil club who can operate without consequence and is able to spend unlimited funds until we strike gold. In just over a year we’ve already bought Lo Celso, Ndembele and Hojbjerg, two of which can play the DM role. Throw in Sissoko, Dier and Winks I feel we’ve got enough bodies to cover that role. That’s a transfer for next summer if no one can fill that role to the standard required
