Why do our transfers always take.so long?
Petrocelli will get his house finished before we complete the signing of this Vicious fella.

Bit of an odd route to Lisbon, looks more like he's heading for Barcelona.

ENOUGH SCHNORRING ALREADY - ANNOUNCE MESSI!
Don't get me wrong, I do want us to win and I believe we can (esp a cup), but it's always a question of what needs to happen (and also not happen), and when I look at us vs other potential winners, trying to take it all under consideration (existing squad, potential recruits & financial might, injuries, experience/winning culture etc), I'm just saying that L'pool/City/Chel have a better chance, esp in the league where you have to be consistently great. Then we're pretty much on par with Utd & Ars, though they edge it slightly because they know how to win and have done it far more often than us over the past so many years. And though they aren't ready to win yet, you now can't discard teams like Everton, Leicester & Wolves with the managers & players they've got. It really is tough domestically for teams like Spurs, and maybe my judgement is tainted by the fact that whenever we got close recently, we crumbled...doesn't mean we would if given another chance, esp with a master winner like Mou at the helm. I'd love to see one more serial winner join our team, a proper leading voice...a Arturo Vidal would've been tremendous help for instance.Aguero is 32 and has been in and out with injuries for years... Things won't improve for him now.
Tbh, I don' think City are as impressive as they appear on paper now.....
You seem to be searching for reasons why we can't win.
IMO we're a legit threat to any of those cups and bang in the mix for top 3.
Unless some unbelievable opportunity comes up i doubt it...that said, this is the window for unbelievable opportunities...
I would have prioritised a proper DM over a new CB, you could have the best CB partnership in the League but unless you have a proper DM in front of them they will still concede. Sissoko , Dier, Winks proved they weren't good enough to fulfill this role last season so what makes you think they can this season? Hjojberg maybe, but if he gets injured we are back to having one of winks or Sissoko. GLC and Ndombele need to be playing alongside a DM not trying to fulfill that role. Dont get me wrong its been a great window , i just think we should have been looking at a DM over a new CB, think peak Wanyama alongside GLC and Ndombele. And were you serious when you compared us to man city ? It was sarcasm right as you cant have been serious? How many more midfielders do you think we should sign? I don’t want us to be some oil club who can operate without consequence and is able to spend unlimited funds until we strike gold. In just over a year we’ve already bought Lo Celso, Ndembele and Hojbjerg, two of which can play the DM role. Throw in Sissoko, Dier and Winks I feel we’ve got enough bodies to cover that role. That’s a transfer for next summer if no one can fill that role to the standard required

I just don't rate him that highly. Don't get me wrong, he's good, but I've watched him play several times and he's never wowed me like a VVD did before he even joined Liverpool. Plus, I just don't see him being interested in moving to Spurs when he's playing UCL football with Inter and he can also seriously compete for the title in Serie A. Even from a money perspective, Inter can offer him way more than we could. If he's desperate to play in the PL, as much as it pains me to say, it'd make more sense for him to go to Utd or ChelseaI sincerely hope we've done all this for more than one Carabao cup. Not that I'm complaining if we win something!
Let's push the boat out for Skriniar, it's been a while since we did that for a centre half

I’m calling it now: Dele to Barca.

He has been learning Spanish!
Sissoko had a great season in 18/19, probably our player of the year. Fair enough he’s been shit every other season he’s been here but it shows he’s got it in him to be a decent player. Hopefully Hjojberg stays fit for the majority of the season because he is a decent DM. I think we can afford one passenger in the side if you look at the quality we now have. We do need that CB replacement though admittedlyI would have prioritised a proper DM over a new CB, you could have the best CB partnership in the League but unless you have a proper DM in front of them they will still concede.
