I've seen bits and pieces of Kessie. Tbh I'd take him too.
Never seen Bennacer. Who does he play for?
Plays in a double pivot CM2 with Kessie in that Milan midfield. They are a really nice pairing.

Hjojberg is not a DM, and Why do you keep mentioning Man City you realise even though we have singed loads of players we have still spent less than last summer?
Let's just say as you have that Hjojberg is the DM and his cover is Sissoko and Winks, then we have the CB's Toby, Sanchez, Dier, Tanganaga , Foyth and CCV the last 2 likely to leave then we also have Davies who can play CB, now i dont know about you but i would feel a lot happier losing Toby for a run of Game and having Sanchez and Tanganga to step in then i would losing Hjojberg and having to use either Winks or Sissoko as a DM and im sure im not the only one?
I agree its been an outstanding window, but this is the transfer thread so we can discuss transfers? and its pointless to keep saying "well we aint City" if there is talk that we have £45 million to spend on a CB then there is money left to spend this window? I just think we would be better off spending it on a decent DM rather than a CB.
A monkey could have deduced that thought.I don’t do twitter. I was the messenger with that Milik stuff; and it appears true. Have a lovely day![]()
Bennacer is the #4 for AC Milan. Extremely good CDM, although he holds the ball a bit too much at certain moments...
not really.
PEH is a Henderson type of player, watch him play or if you are bored read what saints fans say he is, he is not best sitting in front of the two CB’s rather he is better as a pressing driving player.
Sissoko is not a good passer and in the modern game the player who sits in front of the back two needs to be a top passer.
Winks is a number 8 moved further back, he is a decent passer but not great defensively.
When people say DM in the modern game they mean a player who is positionally good defensively, press resistant and with a good range of passing. Obviously examples are Allen at Everton, Fabinho at Liverpool, Matic at United.
If Skriniar gets done it’s the only position in the team not filled. We can get away with it against most teams but top teams with one of those players will have an advantage in the midfield battle against us.
Most things technical are his limitation, but I still think he has something to offer this season.Good post. Sissoko can never be faulted in terms of effort but his passing range is far too limited.
But not from the premier league. Only Championship down.
Saw earlier about a possible Sessegnon loan to Leipzig? Can't remember where I saw it, but that would be a great place for him to land on loan.

I think most people disagree with you, including Jose.Hjojberg is not a DM, and Why do you keep mentioning Man City you realise even though we have singed loads of players we have still spent less than last summer?

Dier's been fairly steady (not great, but not bad) this season to date. Sanchez's crossfield attempt that gave away their first goal last night could only be described a calamitous. Is Stones better than Dier is the question? Our most calamitous defender.
Please not the 'we won the window' argument. That's what Everton fans have said the past few years and they were awful afterwards each year.I think most people disagree with you, including Jose.
Before the window we were being told we were skint and any incomings would only be funded by outgoings. If we do end up with seven in (which already includes a player who can fill the DM role) then we’ve fucking won this window imo. This is the rebuild we needed last summer
Thanks nephew
