We're as close to winning the league as we've ever been and that is down to Jose.
Its a little early to say that. Especially considering how close we have been much later in the season.

I do..so you believe we will win the Premier league under mourinho?
Well I don't, because none of those 3 examples you also gave whilst playing a counter attacking style ever gave up all possession like we do.
But we can agree to disagree, if I'm wrong I will happily apologise, will you ??
Fair point, I would be happy too. We're as close to winning the league as we've ever been and that is down to Jose.
You don't like him but he'll bring us at least one trophy this season I reckon.
When he does, I think you should change your avatar to a grinning Jose holding the cup up just as a reminder of how little you enjoyed the journey

To be fair, Fulham don't have title aspirations... Liverpool at home was a free hit.... no one expected them to get anything.... they could afford to be offensive cos no one would have batted an eyelid if they'd been tonked! His football is shocking. Even Fulham showed more ambition than this. The moment son and kane gets bored with this brand of football, he is done.
True, set pieces dont count.i think he got the tactic spot on seeing dippers has even lower XG than us despite having 76% possession.
they got their goal from deflection and set pieces
Yes. But I was talking league wise. We will win the league cup and maybe euros league. Very confident. A trophy is a must this seasonA top 3 finish and a trophyless season would not be good enough. In my opinion anyway. Look at our squad. A top 3 finish should pretty much be a guarantee.
We got Jose Mourinho in to win us something. If he can't win us something, he's failed, no?

I just think we can finish anywhere in the top 3. Liverpool will certainly do and City is still city. Chelsea to come 4th imo. But yeah CL qualification and a trophy will be goodYeah - I'd take top 3 and a trophy.
I'd be slightly disappointed if we finished 3rd in all honesty but the trophy would supress that a bit.
ThisSpurs fans for years: "We need to become more cynical. Get a bit of grit in the side".
Spurs fans now when we are more cynical and gritty:"Bring back the champagne football".
Obviously tastes are objective and up to every individual. But it really does seem like football fans in general will never be happy.
2 losses in the league so far. Lots of stuff to be happy about. We've just had a long stretch of big games. We were bound to lose eventually and hit a snag. Up and at them again.
The most dangerous and successful partnership in europe under mourinho. Yeah rightly pissed off alright id sayHis football is shocking. Even Fulham showed more ambition than this. The moment son and kane gets bored with this brand of football, he is done.
I had top 6 as my minimum for the league going into the season and one of the cups to build some winning mentality/feeling in the squad. But with the run we went on up until last night night I now want top 4 and a trophy.Yeah - I'd take top 3 and a trophy.

Every manager is brought in to win stuff no?A top 3 finish and a trophyless season would not be good enough. In my opinion anyway. Look at our squad. A top 3 finish should pretty much be a guarantee.

Imagine the melting in here if he did that.I think Jose got it pretty much spot on yesterday, we created 3 massive chances which you simply have to take away at Anfield. The only thing I think he got wrong was actually not going more defensive at the end, It should of really been Rodon instead of Dele, there would of been no shame settling for a point at the end there when they were pressing for the winner.
