Absolutely fucking irrelevant whether we should have been like 3-0 up at HT. We weren't, it was 1-0. And yet again instead of coming out and going again and trying to play we deliberately decide to play zero football second half. We don't even try and control the game via keeping the ball, we just lump it anywhere at every opportunity, make the game scrappy, and play for the final whistle.

We do fuck all and hope we might get a counter attack at some point. We got one with Son, plus a bonus Sissoko trundle that got him somewhere near goal. And did nothing else, barely stringing a pass together. Then they equalise, and all of a sudden we start trying again.

This isn't 2005 anymore, it doesn't work. You give teams a sniff and the quality in all PL teams can do something and punish you.

And it doesn't matter whether we win lose or draw. For example, 3-0 up against Leeds the other day and the second half, especially the last half hour, was the same type of crap where we degenerate to anti-football hoof merchants to see out the game.

It's totally deliberate, the whole squad are under the impression that is what they are supposed to do, and for me it's disgusting stuff to watch. Mourinho needs to fuck it off, or fuck off himself.

I’m not Jose out but I’m not sure how much of this I can take, even winning a league cup after a season of this dross wouldn’t
Be worth it! Something needs to change, I thought it was due to tiredness but most of the team had the weekend off!
I hope you are ready for a League Cup (maybe), 6th place and this type of football for another 4 months, because that's the vibe right now.

He selects Sissoko at RW tonight, with Bale, Moura and Lamela on the bench, against relegation fodder at home. Let that sink in people. If ever a selection summed up his mentality.

2.5/3.1 xG came in the first half. It's the same story, this time with missed chances:

1-0 at half time, yet we create less than Fulham in the second half (0.6 xG to 0.7 xG) and give up a goal. It's the same thing every time.

Yeah our second halves are universally feeble. We don’t concede any big chances from open play but we let the opponent have the ball, we never look like scoring a goal ourselves and eventually we concede from a cross/set piece. It’s the same script over and over again, Everton, Newcastle, West Ham, Palace, Liverpool, Wolves, Fulham, it’s all the same.

Mourinho has to start involving Vinicius, Dele and Bale more in the PL matches. We cannot rely on Kane and Son alone.

Where the game was won and lost (feels like a loss) was the starting lineup.

We chose to start with 3 defensive midfielders, Winks PEH and Sissoko against a relegation team. I mean that was just unforgiveable.

Jose should have gone for his usual PEH Sissoko Ndombele midfield and should have had Berg or Moura up front. Just what was Sissoko doing there?

I just don’t understand why we started with the most defensive midfield formation against the weakest opponent we had this season.

I was never a big fan of his when Levy decided to bring him in, I won’t be sad to see him go.

On balance he's done a middling job. Probably helped in attracting Reguilon. Cup results have been good. Europa has been fine. Some good results in the league.

Negatives would be that 50% or so of our league performances/results have been poor. Most games are no fun to watch. The Doherty signing has been a poor one (a player we're lead to believe he pushed for). Dele alienated. We're playing like a promoted side that happens to have two world class players up top.

The club is paying the guy £15m a year, and if he doesn't achieve top 4 this year I very much hope to see the back of him.

We used to win 6 nil against the weaker teams with him as our manager.

We used to go for it until the end of the game, none of this shut up shop after being up 1 nil. I really miss those days.

I miss the glory days of Poch but in his last 18 months we were not beating anyone 6-0. We were drawing 1-1 to Watford and Sheffield at home with 70% of possession spent passing the ball sideways. The football was just as boring as it is now, only in a different way.

I’m not going to go into why that was, we’ll probably disagree on it.

But I’d rather watch that than what we are watching now. Just a personal preference.
