He has looked good in the games when he has played though.

How awful can he be in training that they should ignore what he has shown on the field, even if it is against weak opponents. He has been one of the best attackers out there in each game he has played.

I understand if he wasn't playing and only in training like Parrot, but we have seen him on the field and it has been pretty good.
He looked poor against Wycombe. Isn't really going to do much in this game...but have to use him. Would not be outrageous to see Jose start vini and put bergwyn on the bench.

Likely line up ?

Lloris
Alderweireld - Sanchez - Rodon
Sissoko - Hojbjerg - Ndombele - Davies
Bale - Son - Bergwijn
Bearing in mind where we are with Kane, Lo Celso, Regulion out (and seemingly Dele/Aurier never coming back) I genuinely don't think that's SO bad...

I can't be the only one who doesn't mind Sissoko at RWB... it's certainly better than watching him get in the way of Hojbjerg and Ndombele trying to do their jobs in the middle!!

I'm going for Spurs to be pleasantly surprising tonight!!

COYS! (That's "S" for Spurs, not Seagulls!)

With how pessimistic this match thread is, and the underlying current of simmering anger aimed at Jose and half our first team squad, this place is going to be lit later if we don't win.

Could explode the internet.

I am usually very positive but I don't like this team at all (which also means we probably win). Jose is making some strange decisions.

I didn't think he was any more poor than a lot of our players were.

No need to sit Bergwijn

Son-Vinicius-Bergwijn would be fine.

Don't play in a back 5 and sit Sanchez. Sit Sissoko. Plenty of options.

Not a fan of a back 5 and scratching my head as to why Vinny hasn’t started here but we should get the win.
Aurier now confirmed as being on the shit list.

Mou: I want a striker.

**gets striker**

Mou: I'm not going to play him, just Kane.

**Kane gets injured**

Mou: I'm not going to play that striker I asked for.

Yes, Mourinho was right to not play the striker and play Kane every match and also now not play the striker when Kane is injured.

I don't like the formation but that team is miles better than Brighton man-for-man.

We've got not excuses if we can't get a result tonight.

or maybe he wanted to play more than he thought Kane would allow him - so went to barcodes
He could have done the Bergwijn role as wide forward or played as two with Kane or up top and Kane behind when required. There has been planty of games already he would have played . 9 in EL I think. LC and FA cup plus possibly getting g run outs in the league coming on for Harry. Plus we still have pay load fee for Vinny and his wages.
