Where's the draught stopper lying down at the bottom of the wall?
Why is pat in the wall as well who’s guarding the far post!!!!Where's the draught stopper lying down at the bottom of the wall?
Gibbo's debut against Stoke in '79.
What was then, the fairly new Arthur Wait stand at Selhurst Park.
Bumping a seven year old post but fuck it.
Any ideas who's behind the towel?
Looks like Steve Kember. Sold to Chavs in late '71 for what was a huge sum then, (170k!!) Immaculately timed for Chavs peak decline. A team that had won the FA cup in 1970 and were CWC holders (beating Real) slid down the table and we relegated them in 1975. Closest they came to any silver was losing the '72 LC final v Stoke.

I must say, I did like that Palace shirt.
Yup - that was also a pretty decent shirt. Looks like Hoadley, to Kember's left.![]()
They changed it to this Claret and blue version which I thought was pretty cool at the time. Big Mal then came in, changed it to the Barca strip of red and blue stripes, then rebranded them as The Eagles (The Glaziers probably not seen as trendy enough maybe).
Oh and a double relegation too!!
Good shout for Kember. Looks strange without a tash.Looks like Steve Kember. Sold to Chavs in late '71 for what was a huge sum then, (170k!!) Immaculately timed for Chavs peak decline. Joe Kinnear perhaps?
Pat, maybe?
Or even John Pratt..?
The one standing on the bench.
Thought you said behind the towel.
Ray Evans.
Yup.
Fuck me, only just noticed there is someone there.
