It seems Oogo is somewhat resigned to the confused policy at the club which oscillates between a strategy of buying young prospects and selling them on at a premium vs having genuine title ambitions.

Like Dortmund.

First bit of business I'd do.

Winks - OUT
Sissoko - OUT

If we're lucky we get somewhere around £30m for the 2 combined.

Use that £30m on another midfielder. Probably Sabitzer.
Skipp coming back too..

Hojbjerg , Skipp , Lo Celso , Ndombele and Sabitzer. Suddenly we have amazing depth in that department and we have a proper midfield selection.
See

This is why we struggle to get rid of our garbages for years, 30m combined fee for Winkssoko is unrealistic.

Sissoko value is 3m at best, same for Winks + 10m english tax makes it 13m

16m combined fee is much more realistic

Other valuations

Dier 5m + english tax = 15m
Sanchez 10-12m
Davies 8m
Aurier 10m
Doherty 5m
Gazzaniga 2m
Aldeweireld 5m
Dele 10m + english tax =20m
Hart 0.00m
Lorris 5m
Sanchez is definitely more than 10-12M lol... probably closer to £25M. Unverified report from Spain that Sevilla are considering a £35M bid.

Rest are quite fair. For Alli we should try and do a cash plus swap deal with Leipzig for Sabitzer.

Jury still out for Lucas and Lamela

They have proved to be useful players and under the right system can add more value to the squad

Lucas has been good the past month or two and although I am Jose out he has taken to the number 10 role well. I would not want to sell him. Lamela is a decent midfielder who offers great energy, my only major issue with Lamela is his fitness/injury record. I would rather keep both players, certainly Lucas.

Not sure how the buy back clauses work to be honest, if it's performance based and he does well we could have to pay an arm for a leg for him?

Anyone know more about how buy backs work?
AFAIK its not much different from adding a purchase clause in a loan deal.

(Going by past RM deals as they seem to be the one that utilize this the most) The typical structure is usually a normal sale contract, plus a clause that specifies a buyback option for the selling club (usually within 2 seasons) at a higher price than the original sale price. The difference in price usually revolves around the salary that the player would have been paid in that period (so that if exercised, the buying club would have suffered minimal financial loss on paper).

Most ridiculous thing I've ever read!!!

Dier is 25m (no English tax. He's not home grown. Quality player and leader)
Sanchez 35-40m (24 and another 10 years ahead of him. Ake went for 45m, and he's pony)
Doherty 15m (would improve have the teams in EPL)
Gazza 5m (good enough for a lot of teams)
Davies 15m (versatile leader)
Aurier 20m (a steal at 20m)
Toby 5m (a steal for a club that can afford him 20-30 games a season)
Dele 40m (young, gifted and world class on his day)
Hart 0m (will see his contract out)
Lloris 10m (still one of the best keepers in world)
Sissoko 12m (can see a promoted Watford picking him up)
Winks 25m (young, English, reliable, skillful)
