You refuse to acknowledge though that this group of defenders are simply not good enough. It's not just about the manager, whoever the manager is after the summer, we need significant investment in the defense.

Theres nothing to deflect. Dont really care about jose, for 15m a year hes added nothing to the team. But these players were absolute shite for a whole year before Jose came here. Real problem is the lack of investment in the squad especially in defence.

The substitutions and selections are asinine really. The first 30 minutes summed us up, we didn’t do anything until we went 1-0 down. A team that can’t start a match properly isn’t going to achieve anything, the names on the team sheet aren’t important anymore.

You should probably do what I have started doing I simply watch the last of the best centre forward of the last 100 years play his final few matches for us.
