Yeah there are plenty of news articles from credible journalists.

Tbf the main reason I know for sure is that I know someone who was on the board at that time.
The figures quoted vary from source to source but £400 million was what Levy came back with. I think it was more of an insult than anything he was ever going to consider.

He would have taken £150-200 if Roman had offered. But ENIC at the time were looking to build on their sporting investments and other board members didn't like the idea of selling to Roman.
As much as I hate Levy I am glad he did not sell to an alleged Russian Gangster implicated in numerous murders and also a friend of Putin. The trophies are not worth the blood money that comes with it. What really needs to happen is a better fit and proper owners test in football to filter out the people with unsavoury character from owning football clubs.

In biblical terms it is fast approaching the time for Levy to utter these words to the false prophet who offered all the kingdoms of the world if he would worship him......"Get thee behind me Satan."

Got to be money if it’s anything to do with Levy

Self respect and pride don’t come into it

Situations like this make me glad I’ve retired

I was in an office with Chavs Gooner and Spammers
Would have been unbearable
Me too - and Villa and Man U and Liverpool, even the Milwall supporter would have been giving me a hard time!
I even had a text from a West Ham supporter saying that she was hoping that we would beat Man U to do them a favour! How the tide has turned!!!

Season ticket renewals start this week. That's going to have more impact on Jose staying/leaving than results it seems.
If that's the case he is going nowhere

Fans talk a good game but never back it up when it comes to protesting the state of their club

The vast majority of our fans will still lap up the chance to renew

I wouldn't say no to Bielsa, seems like he fits the philosophy of the club for sure and has done an amazing job with Leeds. We'd be back to being the best team to watch in the league I reckon

Oh for God sake. NO! NO! NO

Bielsa is chronical loser. Literally never won a trophy despite being coach for million years. He is an idealist and absolutist

Entertaining to have coach like him in the league but nevereverever in Spurs.

Unless anyone of you actively roots against Spurs ever winning a trophy, that is. Mou has to go asap - no question here, but we have to find a better option than Bielsa. Please try to watch one step deeper than media agenda and his own PR team.

Didn’t Poch adopt Bielsa’s philosophy and training methods which would explain the lack of trophies?

He literally won the championship last season.

But... you're right that he hasn't got a glittering record of trophies. He hasn't managed a top-N team, either, though (i.e. a team in or around the top of their tier) other than Leeds, who he's done very well with.

I'd be interested in giving him a shot.

There was good chat on radio 5 live with a guy off the spurs show about an hour ago. I think it’s safe to say that it’s public knowledge now that the fans have had enough. Worth a listen on catch up as it covered all the reasons and problems we have with him.
