He probably wasn't right for us but his attacking play has been quite good

He fits with a bottom half team. Southampton is the perfect level for him.

He is way to scared overall, especially in defense for us and doesn't offer much at all going forward. Not that Aurier can cross a ball but even KWP would struggle to beat the low bar that Aurier has set in that department.

Nothing productive.....I don’t think there is one decision made this season that justifies the delays, uncertainty, absolute stupid hairline offside decisions that VAR has introduced to the game, I mean absolutely none!!
It made me appreciate what good work linesmen(or whatever they are called these days) did before VAR. I mean they called most things right, the offside calls were by and large right decisions. Sure there was the odd bad decision but it was usually a close call. Now their job is mostly pointless, wave a flag after a goal is scored just in case and it'll be checked anyway.
Remember the times you felt silly for going crazy after a goal was scored only to see the flag up and realise it won't count? Pure emotion and excitement that has now been taken away. Now you can't celebrate a goal until it's approved and when you concede you just pray var has picked up on something to disallow their goal.
So I agree, very little to justify its existence

It’s going to stop people going to games eventually. I was on the brink of not going pre first lockdown

Brighton 1-0 at Wolves

from a corner

the next corner - just cannot believe that pen not given, grappling Leicester 2016 style

Edit - 3rd corner - powerful header but stright at the the keeper

Wolves 0-1 Brighton
Brighton after half an hour: Five attempts. Three on target. One goal.
The only thing Graham Potter will be disappointed about is that his side is not further ahead.
