Ex-Spurs Player Harry Kane

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Sorry to burst your bubble Sam but we could offer Haaland a million a week and a night with Dua Lipa in the shower and he wouldn’t join us

And I’ve never once said I want Scott Parker as our manager. Again stop assigning quotes to me that you’ve completely dreamt up
I never said you specifically wanted Parker though.
As for Haaland, he will go to whoever pays him the most as will any footballer.
Just like Kane would go to Chelsea if they offered double what City was offering.

Some of you genuinely think he cares about you, you’re in for a shock.
He cares about himself and his kids and rightly so, but that doesn’t leave much room for you. Sorry

It’s not for you to decide who wants to join us.
If we offer Haaland 300k a week we will probably get him.
I wouldn’t spend 150M on one replacement, I’d fix the entire match day squad with a balance of players who can play together and get in a manager who has a game plan.

I see that as FAR more preferable to keeping Kane and getting in Scott Parker
Oh look.
Cunt returns. Cunt behaves like a trolling fuckwit ..again.
He's trolling us all and the only solution is to card this toxic spurs hating dick.
CARD sammyspurs sammyspurs FOR HIS HORRIBLE VILE TROLLING.

We can only really go by what you could distinguish as what the more reputable sectors of the media are reporting. The most common refrains, I take from all that is;

1. Harry wants to be at a club that is challenging for league and European Cup next season. Regrettably, we won’t be doing that next season or for the foreseeable.

2. He’s not going to hand in a transfer request as such but he’s asked Levy to consider any offers that come on for him.

Levy holds the whip hand if he wants to play hardball just like he did when he told Modric where to go when he knocked on the door of his office saying he wanted to go to the Chavs.

If the decision is made to sell him, presumably as it’s best not having a player who’s heart is not on it anymore, we have to get top dollar for him. Only Citeh and Chavs most likely can come up with that in the current climate. Real and Barcelona could have done that up until relatively recently. Not know.

I suspect Harry doesn’t want to go abroad anyway. He’d be right. The Spanish league is not great at the moment. Their teams have been very poor in the European Cup these past two seasons. Could be going same way as Serie A.

So you mean pretend his performances in three finals for us were good? Because he scored loads in other games?

Is there an actual point in that?

Against Liverpool he clearly wasn't anywhere near match fit. Blame Pochettino for starting him out of loyalty, not Harry himself. He's also allowed games where he doesn't score and isn't the best player on the pitch or in a Spurs shirt.

Slightly sick of the notion Kane deserves trophies more than we do

Late for work today?

I’m genuinely looking more forward to a rebuild with the Kane money, than seeing Kane next season.
I’m so done with this squad, I’d literally keep Lloris, Tanganga, Rodon, Bale and Skipp if it was a viable option

This Cunt returns but in the three games Kane played while I was binned, he further rammed my point up your batty hole

No show

I’d agree with you, you could nearly get rid of the whole squad, I’m sick to the pits of my stomach of most of them. Have you any confidence though in our scouting network that all this money from the sale of Harry (if that is what materialises) will be spent wisely?

It’s a long standing problem. Obviously the Bale money (outside of Eriksen) gets cited a lot but look at the £50 odd million from Kyle Walker. We’d finished 2nd in the league on 86 points, one big signing from the proceeds there like Dippers did with the Countinho money on Van Dijk or Citeh with Diaz at the back this season could well have turned us into champions. Instead we went and spunked nearly the lot of it on Davinson Sanchez.

I don’t trust the recruitment one bit, nor Levys influence on scouting matters, and I also think the likes of Ledley and Mason need to be far away from the first team.

I dream of a group of KGB-like stoney faced Putin fuckers walking in, while Levy locks himself in his office for the next five years.

They don’t speak, they don’t smile, they nod and make notes on clipboards.
They have their own doctors and the whole team is a clinical, clandestine group of ruthless cunts who tear this squad to shreds and force success.

Im sick of this friendly little going nowhere soft bellied pile of shit squad, regime and policy.

Fuck off

I used to think you were a troll, but I don't actually think that you are actually. I don't know if I should be relived or scared.

Even if we got 100 million for Kane, it's hardly going to get us more than 2 quality players in today's market, which also includes the Kane replacement, who will be nowhere near his quality. Losing your best player and having 100 odd million to "rebuild" the squad is a disaster waiting to happen.

We got 100 for Bale who we relied on just as much, when market prices were half of what they are today. We wasted 90 or so of that 100.

Even if we get 200 for Kane (we wouldn't) it will set us back at least 5 years. Maybe more.

What’s the alternative? Being a mid table team while our two best players age out and we get nothing in return?

Big talents (and even good managers) will never come here if Kane and Son were no longer here (unless we get lucky to sign an unknown talent from Croatia or MK Dons). If I were DKL, Saint-Maximin, Matheus Pereira, Neves, Rice, Grealish, or Aarons, etc, and received similar offers from top league teams next season, I’d certainly take into account which top players are my teammates. 200 mil and all that are fine but if that can only afford us 7-8 Lamelas, Sanchezes and Sissokos, no thank you.

Where does keeping him get us? His recurring ankle injury causes him to miss periods and he is about to turn 28 years old.

If you track Harry's stats, he is no longer contending aerials and has began to step behind the defender hoping he will mistime the header. This works against teams in Europa group stages, not the EPL. He is still attacking balls in the box, but clearly the ankle injury is making him think twice about low value challenges.

If we continue to build our team around him for the next 2 seasons; we simply delay our rebuild. Do you think this squad can win anything over the next 2 years?

So many of you just don’t understand that we don’t have to have a like for like replacement for Kane. I truly hope we don’t, because I’d much rather have a high energy striker.
People are insane to sit here moaning about our sluggish dogs shit slow attack while claiming the one sluggish slow player in the attack is the best striker on the planet and we should build our entire team around him. What?!?
Why is it ok for Kane to not work hard in attack? Not press? Not win the ball back? Not run off the ball?
What, because he cleared a corner? OOOOHHHHHH LOOK AT HIM DEFENDING!!!!! Don’t worry about the cup finals though, fuck me

Plus, it should be clear by now that we also have huge differences of opinion in how we rate Kane.
Kane playing poorly is EASILY replaced and in my view he plays poorly for half a season.

He is as inconsistent as the rest of the team, and not reliable in massive games.
So, a player who scores ten less goals than Kane a season YET contributes to others making up those ten with consistent performances will be an adequate replacement.

I don’t want someone who is world class for half a match, and anonymous for half.
Or world class for three weeks and Champo for the next month.

I don’t want someone who is GUARANTEED to miss several games with an injury maybe twice a season, then need weeks and weeks to find form and fitness.
When was the last time Kane jumped for a header?

You’re all wrapped up in 2016-2019, it’s just not the same player, he doesn’t have the strength to do battle at the highest level against the best. Do you actually watch him?
