It will be a consensus decision ultimately controlled by Levy. But I think you're right that we've reached a point where Hitchen guides a lot of Levy's thinking on how to bring his vision of forward-thinking football into reality.

In a true DoF model it would be the DoF's call, though certainly with input from the board.

In either case, while seeking the input of senior members of the squad is wise, they probably shouldn't be involved in the actual interview and hiring process.
I was not suggesting that Kane should be involved in the interviews but unless the interviews are carried out off premises, those that attend will be noted and even if arranged when players are not there, staff will talk to players about who they have seen at the training ground.
The way I would handle it is a general chat to see what Kane says without giving anything away. As an England player he will have feedback on Managers in this Country. The last thing we want is to appoint a Manager that Kane dislikes and increase the chance of him leaving.

I reckon he then sticks them on the underside of his desk. Are you totally grossed out now?
You’re all class mate!

I assume that most if not all talks before the final negotiations and signing would be done on zoom/phone because of Covid.

I reckon its going to be martinez. If it is he is going to have no time to have a break after euros. I dont want parker maybe as a no2 but illogical to hire a relegated boss as main manager. Read earlier AG reckons there has been developments. Hopefully new boss announced just when season ends.

Latest info from TommyYid: "Can confirm the club has held talks with Graham Potter and he's agreed to take over. The clubs are just finalising the compensation. The club's top target had been Nagelsmann until he opted for Bayern. Several other options were considered, including Ten Hag and Rodgers but talks never progressed very far for a variety of reason, and Potter then emerged as the stand out candidate,"

I just completely made that up but just from following things it's probably not far off the truth and more accurate than any "real" so called itk.
If it happens you can quote this and say you knew.
If it doesn't, delete it and claim you never said it.

There's no possibility it'll be Martinez. He'll never get a job with a Top 6 PL club.
