There's absolutely no point getting Bielsa, Poch back or anyone of their type.

Our squad is too old and fragile. It would need a ground up rebuild and that includes Kane and Son to play their style of football.

If they get rid of everyone and get decent fit, willing youngsters we'll probably still be behind the pack. Eventually those youngsters won't be young and willing anymore and they'll have to be sold and replaced and it never gets us anywhere.

The idea of this is better than the reality. Established players over 27 will not want to do hardcore double training and spend 90 minutes hounding the opposition down.
At this stage I would actually be happy with 'burn it down and start again' as an approach. The alternative is just getting in someone like Benitez and letting our ageing squad gradually tire itself out over the next 2-3 years.

Both approaches are deeply flawed but I would rather watch the football under a young manager with a bit of hunger and a renewed squad, even lacking quality in certain areas.

If Mourinho taught us one thing it's that the current squad is not good enough to challenge for silverware, irrespective of who is managing them. I do think we would have had a more enjoyable and successful season under someone more committed to playing attacking football, but the clock can't be turned back with most of our players.

I don't think Mourinho had the wrong idea quite frankly. Our defense is like Amir Khan's chin. He knew this. He knew they needed protection so he deployed players to shield them.
It all went wrong when even that failed because the next line of defence was barely adequate.

Basically we need to replace our entire defence - Reggie potentially excepted - which to me suggests we might as well go for a full rebuild anyway.

He definitely had the wrong ideas

If your defence is terrible don’t base your entire game plan on them being solid for 90 minutes

Worst manager we’ve ever had bar none

Too many shit players then in a nutshell

The fact Graham cunting Potter is leading this poll by a mile sums us up as a football club at the moment

Utter shambles

Rogers: won’t take it and why should he, also prone to Spursy collapses so imagine him here.

Ten Hag: looks to be staying at Ajax

Benitez: boring and after Jose Spurs fans won’t accept boring football.

Conte: the idea of him and Levy working, that would explode.

Allegri: unproven outside Italy and been out the game for a while.

Tuchel and Nagelsmann where the outstanding candidates but one is with Chelsea and the other gone Bayern. Potter plays good football and gets a lot out of very shit players, decent football for cheap, fits The limitations of the club. It’s an attempt for a new Poch.

You saw what happened when we tried to throw the kitchen sink at Leeds.
They're a mid table team and they ripped our defence apart with astonishing ease.
IMO, on paper, that was our strongest available defence as well.

Man City have the best defence in the league. Chelsea aren't far behind. Strong attack is built off trust for your defence. No one trusts ours.

Potter does equal Poch to me. Similar history in management. Similar philosophy by the looks of things.

I’d love to see Conte here, but think Levy would rather cut his cock off. Can you imagine the moaning Conte has about needing investment in the squad and the effect that would have in Levy’s blood pressure?
