No coach at the Euros will be joining Spurs.

Its bad enough with players not getting a pre season - imagine a new coach not getting a pre season!

Not sure how I would feel about getting Bielsa, his style is exciting but wouldn't really get us anywhere ... I suspect Leeds fans will grow frustrated when they struggle to climb further up the ladder

Are Leicester's scouts/backroom still the same now with Rodgers in charge?

I'm not a great Rodgers fan but if he brought those guys along with him then he'd be a lot better

Some of Rodgers' decisions at Liverpool were crazy

We're always rubbish unless we have a decent defence. I'm looking at Leeds' GA and it doesn't look good
New defence so necessary, I'm willing to give Reguilon another chance even though he has been terrible recently, the rest can fuck off including Davies who seems to fly under the radar for some reason.

Yep Leeds can slag us off now and fair enough they battered us the other day but I think they'll be in for a shock next year when teams sit back and just pump them on the counter.

Their style just puts so much risk in losing the ball in important areas which seems unsustainable.

Who do you think we'll sign?

A right back if Aurier goes. A centre back and probably an attacker to cover Kane. I'd be amazed if we do more than that (like getting another central midfielder) and won't solve all the problems like usual. Also, the most important ones won't happen until the end of the window once the season has started, leaving the new manager with one hand tied behind his back like usual. We'll drop points and it will fuck us over later in the season. Just like every year because they never learn (or don't want to).

You?

Bielsa would be a disaster. Leeds get credit for being so 'kamikaze like' with their football, but if that was any other team they'd be getting pelters for the style of play.

With Leeds, and Bielsa's style, it's never a certain that you'd win. They concede as many as they score, and always seem to be opened up.

There's absolutely no point getting Bielsa, Poch back or anyone of their type.

Our squad is too old and fragile. It would need a ground up rebuild and that includes Kane and Son to play their style of football.

If they get rid of everyone and get decent fit, willing youngsters we'll probably still be behind the pack. Eventually those youngsters won't be young and willing anymore and they'll have to be sold and replaced and it never gets us anywhere.

The idea of this is better than the reality. Established players over 27 will not want to do hardcore double training and spend 90 minutes hounding the opposition down.

This thread is the definition of deja vu.

Every day the same comments are written. It's like being in an old people's home where everyone has dementia.

Nothing is going to happen for another 3 weeks at least. But this thread will get up 1000 pages...

So let's have a sweepstake. What page will this thread get to when the manager is announced?

I'm going 683 (as soon as England get knocked out the Euros)

Bielsa's Leeds teams would collapse at the end of the Champo seasons, they just ran out of gas. Didn't rotate at all and it was too predictable for Leeds fans. For 2 seasons why were in pole to go up but fell apart.
