Against Wolves, his long-range passing had me jizzing (he must have hit about 15 peaches) but they gave him plenty of time on the ball. Is mobility the issue for you?
He can ping a pass, no doubt about it. Like bus-conductor bus-conductor has said and your low-lights have pointed out, he is reckless.

If it were Potter that came in, I would just run with Tanganga, Toby, Rodon. All comfortable on the ball and wouldn't cost us Xmillion. We do need another body, but there have to be better options than this guy who has consistently shown he makes some PEH mistakes on the ball.

I just gave you an example of one - there are others who have also spoken about him as a terrible person to deal with. Do you expect them to put official club statements? Don’t be daft.
Not at all. Now that would be daft. But it does call into question where you got your statement from if there’s nothing out there to back it up.

Would you feel more comfortable if I just accepted you’d made it up to try to prove a point and leave it here?

Todibo, the bargain Kounde. Still available for 15m I think.

Very much inspired by Five Five 's efforts last summer I did a Hojbjerg lowlights vid when we were linked:

RE: Hojbjerg

Just to add weight to the ones Five Five posted, here are the bits from the Arse game I flagged up in the other match thread:

First sequence under only moderate pressure he balloons a pass to his team mate then whacks it at another team mate he's so scared of it exploding in his face.

Then next sequence twice in quick succession he has the chance to turn forwards but just bunts it backwards putting his defender under pressure and results in a goal

Third sequence, defender bringing it out, looks for Hojbjerg, who's in space, to take it off him, Hojbjerg doesn't even look to see if he can take it, just too worried in case he is marked (he isn't) so stands there pointing (where have we seen that before) for the CB to go backwards unnecessarily

All stuff we've seen plenty of this season

Blokes a huge issue. Badly need a skilful, comfortable DM that demands the ball off the back 4 / Lloris

You two should have a joint thread where you scout potential transfer targets and rate them.

I feel that most fans like me (and maybe Hitchens?) get their impression of most players from 3 different ways:
a) watching players play against Spurs
b) a handful of big European matches
c) highlight reels on YouTube

For various reasons neither of those two methods are reliable or necessarily representative of the player.
I could never commit to a thread, I'd be sure to come out with some disastrous takes. I will say this much, there's some silly ITK flutterings today linking us with Boubacar Kamara. He has the makings of a world class player in midfield and central defence, one of the closer player comps you could find to Kounde. Not sure if there's anything in it, but I'd love us to sign him.

Yeah I read that yeah someone heard an agent talking about him to Spurs.

Would be a good player to get tbh.

I feel like if we get Andersen we need to get another CB and not a CB like Milenkovic who is similar to Andersen (and very similar to Dier) but someone young , promising and pacey and if preferable Left-footed or can play LCB

Let's buy English. We have had enormous success with players who are proven in England.
Apart from Eriksen and Son maybe Lucas foreign club's players have been massive flops.
How much more than the £xm we spunked on Ndontcarebele could have been spent on Grealish?

On 15 June 2017, Maguire signed for Premier League club Leicester City on a five-year contract for an initial £12 million fee, potentially rising to £17 million with add-ons.

On 18 August 2017, Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur announced that they had agreed a move for Sánchez signing a six-year contract subject to a work permit, for a reported transfer fee of up to £42 million.

I didn’t make it up - clubs officials have gone on record saying he’s nearly impossible to work with

Yeah, Championship buys have been mostly good for clubs the last few years. Toney, Armstrong, Olise the three standouts that would be available this year. Disappointing we didn't move for Eze.

He’s been doing a decent job for Marseille and If he switches back to CB he may turn out to be well above average, but I wouldn’t say he’s world class midfielder potential personally, more of a deluxe Declan Rice maybe? He’s athletically built, reasonably mobile, but his technical ability and passing are just ordinary for a midfielder, he’s not super press resistant either.

But even the 'disastrous takes' may actually be useful for you; you could analyse why you got some wrong, and then keep that in mind for next time (for example there may be a pattern of players you rate who do well in La Liga but flop in PL).

Where did you hear these links?
Checked ligue 1 table, and Marseille have conceded 44 goals, not bad.

If we can raise the funds
