It's a good point. For what it's worth, I don't foresee Kane going off the boil massively next season if this move didn't materialise, unlike what we saw with Eriksen - but that saga is a reminder that when a player wants to move on and won't sign a new contract, his value is going to massively drop in the last two years of his deal and there is a definite cost/benefit analysis to be made.
Its not about money though is it, its about the owners ambition not matching the players. The money is just a sweetener.

I do agree with you, but this is the new owners of football clubs, foreign owners who use slave labour, awful pay, terrible conditions.

If harry loves spurs I dont know how he could play against us. I'm surprised hes never said I'd never play against spurs in the prem like so many one club legends who then might go abroad. I honestly don't think anyone will get close to 150 mil plus for a 28 year old with a questionable injury record the last few seasons. If you had 150 mil haaland would be the one to give you 10 seasons and some sell on.
If he goes to RM or Barca for the right price (£120m+ in this market) then fair enough. Hugely disappointed but accepting.
