Manager Antonio Conte

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Just imagine... "Winksy, Davies, Sanchez, Dele, Sissoko, Doherty, Dier, Aurier... they're the past... full stop."

The brutality in culling, we need.

The problem is, he's got Dier, Sanchez, Doherty, Aurier and Regi (flaky defender) to work with. Unless we bring him in and there's a complete overhaul on defense, it won't be much better than what Mou did.

Difference is, the Conte quote about being shit at Juve was 'we've been shit', whereas Jose was 'he' or 'they' never 'we'...

we Absolutely need to keep son if when Kane goes just for the goals.

If Utd go Grealish we could be in the mix for Sancho. Kane money will put us in the mix for either (should Liverpool and City stay away, don't think Sancho would go City so Chelsea would be main problem if Tuchel has the hots).

This doesn't change anything really. I meant if you follow the ex players comment, then despite the fall out, majority of Mourinho's ex players even said something along the lines that they feel he was right about them. With Conte, once it falls out, it also all falls down.

Only hope that if we go this route, we can get something out of it, since it's already no winner when choosing the lesser devil in this case. The aftermath can be devastating. Proceed with caution.

Is he leaving Inter a mess then?

I honestly don't see any difference between Conte and Mo. They the same. They will say what they think. Mo also spoke about, " As Manager I have to take the blame......" but shat on his players. I've seen Conte do the same. I'd be glad if he manages us. At least I know he'd have it up front that he will pick and buy players of his choice. It will take the power from Levy. I'm all for that

Time will tell.

Mourinho left Inter after they won Treble. He left Chavski first time , but they went on to build on his foundation.

Why would Conte leave for us, if thing is gonna continue well for them? We can understand joining a more ambitious project, like Mourinho jumped the ship for Real Madrid. Us right now? Ambitious?

What if Son has asked to leave, and we have deals in place for £150M for Kane and £75M for Son. Foyth and Aurier £25M.

Levy "Conte, would you like £17M a season and £250M to spent in this climate?"

That's a big what if.

If Kane is off, with Inter having financial struggle, Conte may spend 80mil-ish to sign him. Conte is dead on 5 at the back. With our option at CB and RB, the leftover after Kane replacement may not be enough. Inter spent a lot in Conte's first, but he almost left last summer to ask for more money. Now after winning the league (a good return for investment as of right now), Conte still chooses to leave.

So it's not simple situation we're at.

Edit:

Same theme with Conte at Juventus, Chavski and Inter most of summer window..

We are probably offering twice his wage and a 50 or 60% higher squad wage bill, I'd speculate.

Give Conte promise of rolling Kane n Son money into the squad would be very enticing to him, again I speculate. We have £175M if Kane, Foyth, Aurier go as appears 99% likely.

Sessegnon fits his system ideally, Reguillon as well, Doherty and Bergwign (as said he could be molded ala Moses, Moura ditto) the strong CM means he'd want 1 CM IMO (£40-50M two if he doesn't trust Ndombele, but he'd agree that would need to cover itself). CB I think he can get set with £50M (two £25M). So £90M to set up his defence and midfield, leaves £85M for two attackers (my desire, though Lukaku and Scarlett would be fine for me, if he wants the money better spread through the team).

Seems simple to me!
