Only Chelsea could sack a
Manager half way though the season ,
Then end up having Spurs secure them get top 4 and then go and win the champions league against the only team that is more financially doped then they are! Sometimes I wonder if they have signed a deal with the devil! :mourcheeks:

England are the Spurs of the international side, never win anything, always gets schooled by the best sides in the big matches.
I do agree and I have always felt that. Obviously, I live in the desperate hope we will win something.

We do have the best young players in the world coming through now, proper technicians, like Foden, Mount, Bellingham, which we haven't really had for a while. Apart from Scholes, who was a bit different and played out of position, and maybe Carrick, I don't think we had anyone like that in the "golden generation". It was more about power and frankly outdated tactics from successive managers.

I seem to remember a complete overhaul in the training of youth players by the FA about 10 years ago. Perhaps we are seeing the fruits of that now. I found this old pamphlet from the FA which talks about the changes if anyone is interested. Just search the below in google:

Edit: One thing that we may all remember from playing at school, is that kids used to play on full-size pitches. That document recommends that they shouldn't be playing on full-sized pitches till 13+ and that it should be 9v9 until 13+. Also, another interesting one is having more touches of the ball on a smaller pitch. It should be less about fitness and stamina and more about technique.

I used to get wound up watching rival games. Now, I just try and enjoy watching football. I do find it tricky watching Woolwich though.
Woolwich is the one team I can never "enjoy" the match unless they are getting beat.

Last night I absolutely hated Chelsea winning but I was able to find a few positives.

1. Pep lost again
2. Chelsea won a CL with the same players Lampard got sacked with. Great to see how awful of a manager he really is.
3. Happy for Tuchel
4. Oil rich club lost
5. Maybe City bid a crazy amount for Kane now (if Kane pushes for a move)

Yeah, fuck Abramovic and similar owners, we'll do it the right way with Levy😭
😂😂 you do know who owns us right? And how the man has spent the better part of his life avoiding paying any tax?
Our owner is worth 4bn quid, the vast majority being acquired tax free......That never sounds like a guy who is willing to spend money with no return on it.....Levy obviously gets most of the shit we dish out, but at the end of the day Levy only has whatever free rope to run on that Lewis allows him to have......
The game used to be enjoyed and any deep discussion was about players, it’s about all we cared about discussing over a pint.
Sadly the modern game has fans discussing not only players (even then is about what stats they rack up) fans now unfortunately have to discuss changing managers every 5mins, and sadly the clubs owners, whether it be robbing from the fans at Utd to afford the children of said owner a very comfortable lifestyle on insane dividend returns in the form of salaries, or the mega rich playboys of City and Chelsea who sideswipe every rule in the book to pump money into their respective clubs.
Just look at the worlds top 10 richest clubs and there annual turnovers, then step back and look how much debt they are in....The magic of accountancy then takes over and hyper inflates their “value” so their debt looks a manageable percentage of their net worth ie: Barcelona don’t have a pot to piss in and yet they are the richest club in the world with a mere 6% debt to value ratio, problem is that value is 4.3bn quid.....

Tottenham Hotspur are valued at a whopping 2bn quid with a 40% debt to value ratio.....we are in safe hands🤦🏻 right up to the point of another 2008 recession, which isn’t that far away due to the knock on effect of the covid19 economy and future world trading, and the rate at which the US (world standard currency) is printing new money. That will drive our value down while driving our debt % up....
There is a reason these teams agreed to a new European Super League without a single word to the public until it was signed & sealed, these bunch of cunts aren’t stupid, they know it’s coming, even RB Leipzig who are the German version of Chelsea were the surprise inclusion but it’s all about the debt and one way or another all this debt is intertwined among the same lenders, and those lenders must protect their debt.....

But other than that we are doing it the right way😂😂

I just want us to win things, doesn't matter how anymore.
Tired of this moralism about City, Chelsea etc. They have 2 fucking CL. Yeah, but I won't change that for us, because it's dirty oil money. Fucking bullshit
