Just lol if you think Conte is going to wait for Levy to generate money by selling players at the usual snail pace.

Imagine a footballing website where that club are looking for a new manager, around two months or so after the last one was fired, and they are in the off season, with their biggest player wanting to leave and the website Administrator posts this into the "Next Manager" thread:

A&C:
Before it happens and it gets out of hand (and it's starting to look likely), this thread isn't for discussing Levy.

See how nice I am, giving you a roadmap to avoid being excluded from the thread........

This is a pretty ridiculous position. If you really want to nail a hiring like this, you need to take the time to do proper due diligence and talk to people. The tension that shite reporting might be generating among the fans is exactly what the club should ignore. Spurs fans are pretty clueless muppets who couldn't spot a decent manager if one walked up and kicked them in the family jewels. Most were against Pochettino when he was announced because he wasn't famous enough, and people are carrying on about "proven winners" and "signs of intent" now. Look, we went down that road with Mourinho. It was shit.

If that's what the fans want then the fans should emphatically not be given it.
We'll take the "proper time" and end up with Parker.

The more time a manager has to settle in with the squad and make his own signings the better.

Imagine hiring a manager with just a couple weeks to go until the season kicks off, worrying thought.

So levy wants a manager that plays good attacking football, incorporates young players, who doesn’t want big signings, who works on a thought budget, who’s soft in the locker room and gets top 4...

4th place just isn’t a realistic target for the ENIC project as conceived.

There are now four clubs who are financed with the legitimate aim of being the best club on earth and all of them have better squads than us and are investing to improve them.

Honestly I’m not sure how anyone breaks the emergent Big Four. It would take a very high level of funding and football sophistication and we have neither.

£20m is peanuts these days.
We'd struggle to sign Winks for that if he was at another club.

And Baldilocks will see it as 20m well spent if Poch agrees to work with what he's got and not demand 200m of spending.
20m for a manager is not peanuts. And if you put it this way, an extra 20m could be the difference between signing a player and not signing him. To give you an example Skiniar or maybe Fernandes.

Agreed. We'd need some kind of new league with some guaranteed money to be viable in the PL. Maybe even no relegation in that league. Needs a catchy name. Maybe the Mega League, or something like that.
