Probably time to forget about thinking about this, get on with our lives and when it happens it happens?

Maybe it is Levy's plan to make me feel apathetic with everything to do with THFC. He's even managed to make the new manager search as boring as fuck. All it is doing is going round in circles every day.
Yep. We have the ability to suck the joy out of everything. Every potential new signing seems to drag on for weeks or months, Mourinhos sacking 2 months too late and now the potential return of Poch, if it happens, will just be more relief than any form of excitement.

I can't believe we still have so many anti-Jose supporters on this chat.

Doesn't all the antics ring the bells? I don't like Jose's style of play but I'd really not say having one of the Crappiest defences in the league was his doing. If we had even half of the player error related goals wiped out, We'd probably be above United.

Managers can't be blamed for that shit show. One would think this, added to the USA football league stuff-up, would have forced Levy's hand but it has only got him showing us the middle finger.

So one of top 3 managers in world football is currently without a club, no other big sides are out there who also need a manager and we’re fucking around trying to get Poch back for some good PR

Just fucking go and get Conte, show some intent and back the guy. The fact we don’t seem to be after him tells me everything I need to know about Levy’s intentions for our new manager .

I wasn't a big fan of his tenure, we started well but the football we played was shit and always seemed on a knife-edge.

When results started going against us I genuinely believe he just started cruising and lost all desire to do well for the club, he came across as incredibly fake to me.

I agree though some of the shit players he was working with definitely contributed to his demise same as Poch.

it's a game of politics:

  • PSG quite rightly want to save face
  • PSG would rather have compensation then let him walk
  • Levy wants to pay as little compensation as possible

For PSG they are likely to want a manager lined up that will take them to the next level and please the fans. This could be Conte

We have likely shown an interested in Poch but would rather he resigned and his contract was cancelled by mutual consent. In order for this to happen PSG need a replacement lined up.

None of this impacts deals for new players being worked on, lots are either on holiday or away with their national team for the Euros so another week really makes very little difference. For Spurs they can likely save £5-10m if they manage this right. It's not chump change here.

The reports of Ten Hag are likely circulating to put pressure on PSG, so they realise they might be left with an unhappy manager when they really prefer someone else.

I wonder if the hold up is actually PSG securing their new manager, they likely want this tied up before Poch is allowed to leave so we have to be patient.

I think I woke up in a cold sweat last night thinking we're going to be stuck with Sissoko and Winks if Poch returns. For me this will be the clearest sign of nothing changing. It's imperative that we move on, and learn from past mistakes.

If he comes back and these players (along with Aurier) are booted out then I will feel much more positive about things.

Jose has gone tho so we don't need to speak about him right? Certainly not in a new manager thread...although levy could be the ultimate troll and Jose returns 😂

Ha!

There was a Twitter account a few years back Agent_ITK, went from nothing to around 30,000 followers in a few weeks I think, even mentioned on Talksport.

Turns out it was just some bloke having a laugh and he came clean.

He was having a laugh, the rest are just wronguns who crave attention and lie a lot to get it. No doubt they tell lies to their family and friends day in day out too.

I reckon we are going to appoint Poch today. With season ticket renewal deadline tomorrow Spurs need to appoint a manager sooner rather than later and PSG know this so they are looking for us to pay.

We aren't announcing anything until every last season ticket is sold. Baldilocks will want all that money banked ASAP and not give himself the headache of putting people off with an unpopular hire.

We don't know what is going on. No one in the press knows what's going on.
For all you know, Levy and Conte have been in touch and a deal is in place.
For all you know the Poch stuff is all smoke and no fire. Press jump to conclusions that he didn't win the league in a one horse race means he'll move on.
No one knows.

Would love to see neymar knocking on contes door to look for his annual week ogf to party for his sisters birthday

Bullshit. He over achieved and wasn't backed.

Just for once, why not stop apologising for Daniel Levy and diverting the blame all the time
yep, it was painfully obvious that we needed a rebuild especially of the defense at least a season before our champions league run and it wasn't done. Hell, it still hasn't been done. Nor have we replaced eriksen even though that should've been done at least 2 years ago. Lo Celso is a Betis level player.

Mate, if we still have Sissoko (France International, world Cup winner and possible Euro 21 winner) I would lose sleep
Winks and Dier who can't even get in an international squad, pff, then I'll be worried.
Lamela and Moura running around a bit and doing nothing, pff.
Davies being ripped to shreds on the left, Aurier giving away free kicks when under the kosh and Doherty being invisible, pff.

That's the work Poch has cut out for him if this happens. And I think he's too nice and too much of a yes man to get them all out.

Sissoko did not win the world cup

Yep, they have an amazing ability to want to do exactly that. It gets to the point where you cant think it is anything else but intentional. It doesn't scream of being clever at all either. Just comes across as being a bit desperate, not sticking to our ideas or having any direction.

I think he'll want rid of them but getting offers that are acceptable to Levy is the issue and always has been. We can't buy early because we can't shift our deadwood. It always comes back to the same problem and that is our chairman wanting to 'win' every single deal.
