Conte is also way more flexible tactically then some people give him credit for.

Look how he setup Juventus compared to Chelsea compared to Inter. He has some core principles but he utilizes talent well.

I dont know enough about the Juve guy to judge him specifically, but if he does come in with Conte as being reported - theres at least intent to address the long term view. What else can we ask for?

At the very least its getting Levy away from transfers which can only benefit the coach (whoever that may be)

And if Conte were to end up a short term appointment - who better? I mean, seriously, who is better at getting it done in next to no time?

Or, what if, Conte comes in with enough clout that he is able to establish the set up he wants so he can actually settle in for the llonger haul....
I know enough about Juve's transfers in recent years to be a bit concerned about this guy, in that I haven't seen much evidence of the kinds of business we need to do for our squad. Offering Cristiano Ronaldo a quick out from tax evasion and assault charges isn't something I see as transfer genius.

On Conte, he might be good for 12 months, but I don't think he would ever be settling down, and as such, I repeat me concerns. The DoF can't be starting at the same time as the guy he will need to fire, especially when he has a closer relationship with that guy than with the club employing him.
