Have talks with Conte over the managerial role. Let the press find out. Approach a new DoF. Let the press find out. Get fans excited. They renew their season tickets today ahead of the 5pm deadline.

Friday 4th June

Talks have broken down between Tottenham and Conte due to transfer targets. Talks fall apart with DoF due to duties in their role. Eddie Howe announced as manager.

:levylol:

Conte fell from the skies to our lap. This is the most un-spursy thing in quite some time. We get a top 3 world class free of any compensation when our rivals all have settled managers. United persisting with Ole and the goons with arteta is also hilarious. This could be a marking point in the history of the club. I feel that we will achieve finally serious goals.
United and Woolwich sticking with PE teacher and cone boy.

Meanwhile, next season will have Pep, Klopp, Tuchel and Conte competing for the Champions League spots.

I'm sure it will be fine for them.

I thought he had already agreed and was looking at potential signings.

Some people lose their speed and athleticism after such a serious injury. Do we have evidence he's back to his pre-injury self?
He's still quick and aggressive. Biggest issue isn't even his passing, it's the rashness, IQ. He has qualities that make him a top defensive prospect, but you'd be hoping that Conte does a masterful coaching job on him to bring out the player he could be.

His performances have been a bit erratic. A lot put down to injury, also not getting a string of 4/5/6 games to find his rhythm. For me one of the biggest things is we need somebody who improves the athletic profile of our defensive line and team in general, he does that. But he's not yet a top player.

Goons and chavs are in shambles with conte coming to us :balescream:

From Cunto Mania - this is EXCELLENT reading!

  1. sp*rs had a better season than us, sacked their manager and are going after the best manager on the market. Herbert Chapman didn't die for this.
  2. just assumed PSG would let Potch **** off & bring in Zidane
not sure Conte can turn Sp**s round but takes the piss a quality manager off the table for us now for good
  3. Change the thread title, there's nothing to laugh at.
  4. No CL, best player wants to leave and no oil money owner yet they're still targetting the best manager available on the market whilst we put our tail between our legs and accept our falling into mediocrity.
We can all laugh about the lack of trophies but let's face it, Sp**s have at least tried to behave like a big club far more than us in the last 10 or so years
  5. Sp**s getting Conte while we stick with Arteta is seriously depressing stuff.
If he goes to Sp**s then thats us missed out on both Tuchel and Conte for cone boy.
  6. **** me its happening. So jealous

From Chavski Bell Shed End

  1. I really hope he doesn’t go there. He is a fantastic manager, one of the best around and he’ll turn Tottenham into a top team again. There’s no doubt about it. He won’t last long at all, probably 1 season but Conte is the very best they could get if they want trophies.
    Conte, wtf are you doing.
  2. Getting sick of seeing ex-Chelsea managers join Spurs.
  3. Really hope he doesn’t go there but there’s strong rumours it’s close. Strange thing is that Levy wrote a couple of weeks ago that he was looking for an attacking manager. Doesn’t seem right.
  4. I guess it's better he goes to Spurs than Man Utd where he is a lot more likely to be successful but can't help feel this is treachery. Another mercenary manager of modern football. I hope he fails miserably if he goes there.
  5. Don't want Conte joining Spurs as he is a serial winner and he will improve them.
  6. He'll no doubt "prefer to kill Levy" inside a year but the crazy man might also turn Tottenham into a contender. The kind of players he's dragged to a league title sometimes is amazing
